That red beetle is a red milkweed beetle or weevil...I can't find anywhere if it's a bad guy or not.

This thread is like being in a candy store...better, no calories. Great photos....am loving the rose Wenlock, the dark purple JIs....Jo, I had Rosepoint Lace one year...died out. A delph I had to stake..usually they don't get this tall...

I let the Trinity flowers grow by the side of the road....then they reseed in my per. beds....

Gorgeous roses from Tex and all these beauties from Jen and Robin. Hard to keep up. I have some buds on one of my mums too. Need to pinch them back to make more stems. The weather has probably messed with them. Hot, cold, wet, no wonder they are screwed up. Answered about your red bug on another thread Jen. Love the red clem too and the delph from Robin has a nice shade of blue.

Allison! You got some 'Stock'....did it smell good? Love the Woody's and delphiniums, can't believe the size of that Foxglove!! Speaking of which, here is the one you gave me last year.....it has multiplied BIG TIME!

This guy was seeking shelter in the M.O., his left wing has a hole in it.

This is Herch. "Miracle' planted last fall after they destroyed my shade bed putting in the pipes for the well. I have been slowly re-building it and this little plant has grown despite being semi-alone and neglected. It is appropriately named^_^

Pixie - that Wine and Roses TBI is just breathtaking. I pulled out a lot of my irises because they were just boring yellows and lavenders. I did order some interesting varieties from an iris co-op for July planting.

Thank you Tex, 'W.& R. is from a co-op here as a matter of fact. Not last year, but the year before I thnk it was.

That W&R is available at Painted Acres Farm. I think I'm going to order that. It's a re-blooming iris too.
