Beautiful rose show Tex!!
2010 Garden Photos - 17
I think your mystery plant might be Lychenis (sp)
Really good looking blooms, Tex
That red beetle is a red milkweed beetle or weevil...I can't find anywhere if it's a bad guy or not.
Rebecca is stunning Jen!
I just planted her not too long ago, she's only 6" tall
Gorgeous roses from Tex and all these beauties from Jen and Robin. Hard to keep up. I have some buds on one of my mums too. Need to pinch them back to make more stems. The weather has probably messed with them. Hot, cold, wet, no wonder they are screwed up. Answered about your red bug on another thread Jen. Love the red clem too and the delph from Robin has a nice shade of blue.
well I fed all the pups for Lily this morning and then snuck out on the deck for a while... nice series of hummer pics

Wow those are great shots!
thanks... every single one was enjoyable... nice to just stop the world and take a little time for me.. and a good cup of coffee
Can I ask, how close you were to the hummingbird when you took them?
Pixie - that Wine and Roses TBI is just breathtaking. I pulled out a lot of my irises because they were just boring yellows and lavenders. I did order some interesting varieties from an iris co-op for July planting.
Thank you Tex, 'W.& R. is from a co-op here as a matter of fact. Not last year, but the year before I thnk it was.
That W&R is available at Painted Acres Farm. I think I'm going to order that. It's a re-blooming iris too.
Great pics Pixie! Even I can appreciate that pretty rock! :)
What a pretty flower Peoniae!
There is a dwarf iris named 'Iced Wine' have to do something different.
Meredith maybe 8 feet... the feeder is across my patio table and just over the deck rail
Celeste.. the stock is fantastic... thank you so much for pointing that one out... my WS'ed seeds are a worthless size still ... glad I found those at Agway... I will be sure to get some every year now!!!... it does smell great!!!
I had a skipper land on my paint pen this morning... all I asked if it wouldn't go to the bathroom on it.. think I need more sleep???... LOL
love you JI Weeze!!!... I finally see buds on the ones I picked up from Enasta... was going to move them this year if they did not... I wasn't sure if they had enough sun where they were
I still don't see anything from my two crocosmia... are they gonners???
Question! does goarsbeard have a scent?
I walk in that area and it smells sweet.GB is the only thing blooming.
