Oh I really like that dp. dark tiny padhye.
May I ask where you purchased this lovely bulb and are their other colors in that series?

TY, I got the Tiny thru the Pacific NW Lily Society's annual spring sale. My friends here in this forum did not have to twist my arm too hard for me, from TX, to join. I'm happy I did.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Brent and Beckys has a sale on now. I almost bought Triumpatore

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Go for it, Jo. You said you had more room for lilies.

Tiny Padhye is lovely. I assume the one on the right is one that opened before the one you took the picture of? The more faded one looks lovely too. Or it could be just the way the sun is shining on it.

I replaced a no-show Polly

Brandon, FL(Zone 9b)

we are the original owner, so the only thing I can think is the curcuma aka hidden ginger had to be in the same pot or part of the original plant.... thanks vossner

Tomah, WI

Love, love, love that Tiny Padhye!

Ooooh I love RP too.

Tropical Dream - note the hail damage received last night, good one unfurled today. A sudden thunderstorm dropped a couple inches of rain after initializing with a wind swept fury of hail, lasted several minutes, dime size.

Lollipop and a different buff lily also started blooming but first ones got zapped.
Admired that Tiny Padhye pictured up above...

Lubbock, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh, so pretty.

Of the lilies I planted my Triumphator seems stunted. It was about to burst through the plastic shipping bag and I figured it would grow the fastest, but it has no noticeable height gain from day to day where as the other change daily. I keep hoping it'll get a burst any day.

Long Branch, NJ(Zone 7a)

And I thought I was the only one having problems with Triumphator. I got several bulbs from 2 different vendors. You're right Sunshine, they seemed to be stunted or something. My first batch from the first vendor took forever to sprout out of the ground. I was going to dig them out to see if there were any problems but eventually they sprouted.
Out of 4, three sprouted so far all at different time. Receive another 6 from a lily coop - 4 has sprouted again each one at a different time frame.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Lilies planted in the Spring will always be shorter as they are trying to do 2 things at once ~ grow roots and grow tall. Something has to give and that usually shows in the height. They will be taller next year.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Your the best Moby
I wondered the same thing and just figured I would have to wait.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Moby good observation! Thanks for sharing your experience. I've another orange lily blooming today.

Voss, those trumphinators are really beautiful. I like the way you have planted them together to such stunning effect.

Jmorth, your lilies are really popping! Four different roses have started blooming but no lilies yet, although there is a bumper crop this spring. Question for you - do you have an absence of rabbits? I am seeing very few this spring. They are not nibbling at the liles the way they have every year.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Lets hope there was a bunny virus that thinned them out like the Racoon virus that dwindled that population years ago.

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

I read a story about bunnies disappearing from Central Park (New York). I go running most mornings and I used to see 10 or 20 bunnies running around. In the last month I have seen TWO! I've never had so many lily stems.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

That's becuase they are all here in Hannibal, nibbling on my siberian iris leaves.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

OMG Polly how awful.

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

i'm sorry, Polly. The little b-------!

People on the other side of my community feed them. Can you imagine?!

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

me thinks I need the crimson pixie. I checked out the B&B sale and only got me some more lollipop, and some species type glads.

you know, I've planted muscadet and tom pouce 3 times and they have either not come up or not returned. bought from reputable sources. don't know why they don't like my garden, sniff....teary sniff.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Love seeing all the lily blooms here!

Lots of buds coming on fast here now and getting close. I can't wait! SO excited to see some of the new ones bloom.

My Triumphator is not being its usual robust self either this year. I divided it last fall and replanted 3 bulbs and only 2 sprouted and look a little puny at that. It usually is the first to bloom but I don't hink it will be this year.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Voss, you're not alone with 'Muscadet'. I planted some, they returned the second year, but apparently has disappeared on the 3rd. Big tears here too, for I love them. Donna, I've the one and only one Silk Road from you. Thank you, I hope 'Silk Road' will return for me...longing, longing.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Jo and Donna. Tonight out goes the big gun. The water scarecrow. I hope to send a few of those little stinkers running. I think they are so darn cute, too. And I know it's rabbit nibble on the leaves cause I saw one of the little stinkers at work. I asked him what he thought he was doing, and he just looked at me.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Dont you just hate the attitude of entitlement on the wild life?
