Now that's group of fine looking women!!

Crossville, TN

I took a book ...so that I could sit and read when I got "bored" looking at flowers...never even cracked that book open...I didn't buy and fluers...but bought me a very expensive (for me) spray to go on my watering hose...It is guaranteed for life...and I asked the owners young man ...about 14 YO...what about me...I don't have many more years...and he told me that I could Will It to My Heirs...and they could collect....LOL He's going to own that business one day.

I bought some nice gardening gloves...and some organic "Poo"...chicken, I think!! FUN! Jo

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)

I hosed off my plants with my camera in one of my plant buckets and ruined it, it seems, so I am not sure if my memory stick will still work or not. GRRRR!

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)

Squirrel beater tonic, 2 tbsp of cayenne pepper, 2 tbsp of Tabasco sauce, w tbsp of chili powder, 1 tbsp on Murphy's Oil Soap and 1 qt of warm water, mix all and then pour the mix in a hand held sprayer and spray your trees from top to bottom. Also All-Purpose pest Prevention Potion voles, rabbits and just about any critter. (I mixed a combo of both of the above recipe ingredients this year, put it on about mid February and only had one rabbit eat one little plant and he must not have liked what it tasted like cause they all hang out in my yard in the morning and night, but are not eating diddly squat. 1 cup of ammonia, 1/2 cup of urine, 1/2 cup of liquid dish soap and 1/4 cup of castor oil. I added blended jalapenos and did not use urine, since I mix it in my blender, then pour some of the concentrate into a watering can with water. I think the hot chili and all the flavors go in the leaves of the plants that are edible, so the stuff that is edible, you just need to pour it around the perimeter. It worked so far. The darn rabbits ate my entire lawn one year, but so far, they are not. So ????? You judge.

He is so cool, he has a million aphid remedies, fertilizers, insecticides, mildew ridders etc.

Ok, your turn...I noticed I missed a few people but hoping someone else got their pictures. If I misnamed someone, let me know. Senior moments are more frequent these days.
Enjoy!

Las Vegas, NV(Zone 9a)

Well, it looks like you had a great time. I cannot tell you if I could have gotten up on that rock "small mountain" but I would have never been able to get down.

Well it was a good thin g i did not make the trip because DH Vern went i to the hospital with major bleeding from the colon. We went to ER at 2:30am this date and he is still there. Major bleeding somewhere in his intestines. 2 pints of blood transfused and tomorrow, sometime, they are doing exploratory to see where the bleed is and what the problem. He had upper and lower GI on Monday with no problem. Well God said, "hello" stupid, look here. So keep us in your prayers. But I will be there next year.

I have a balance problem so I would need a strong young man to help me up the mountain. LOL. My grandchildren say, "Oh no,
Grandma and Grandpa are not going on the hike are they?" That is because in Hawaii, it took our son-in-law to get my husband down the Hana hill because of some kind of problem. It took over 4 hours. We actually thought he had a stroke but no. It looks like it was dehydration...Last thought. We have been married 36 years and dated 9 years before that and we have slept apart the last 36 years about 5 times. Tonight is not going to be easy but keep my DH in your evening prayers, if you are still awake and your morning prayers because he and I need your help.
