An Oak Titmouse
DAILY PICS VOL 310
Boy, I can't seem to keep up with the thread. Nan, I'm so glad you've shared the female Towhee, I've yet seen one. Margaret your Rainbow Lorikeet is most colorful. It's too bad some species has to be a bully to survive. In a peaceful eco-system, some birds loose their ability to even fly? To me that's sad. They loose their natural defense mechanism.
Duc, congrats on the new lenses. I'm so happy for you. If I wished real hard, maybe Santa will bring some new equipment for birding next Christmas. :-) BTW, you Blackheaded Grosbeak looks kinda 'sad'.
I've enjoyed your contribution tigerlily. Love the drakes Mallard you've shared earlier. Adel, Frank's creek is such an attraction for your local bird. Nice job!
Love those quails, they are much fun to watch I'm sure. Wished I've some here. Hey guys, I must be doing something right. The Cedar Waxwings returned to visit 5 days in a row! Yes five! Imagine that. Also, my Redheaded WoodPeckers must be having little mouths to feed? I've seen one returning to the grain feeder yesterday, then again today. I'm in birds heaven!
Tiger...........congrats on the lifer.

Can't wait to see the cedar Waxwings again, Nice start with them , Elphaba
GP Glad to see you still have Bunting, they are so sweet, I hope they stay a good while .
TL love the rich color of the Mallards, beautiful shot.
Adel, love the Quails in the pear tree.
Duc, I can't get over your beautiful Oriole, great job with the new lens, I love that birdbath.
Nanny, lucky you to see the Towhee, I would enjoy their visit here.
Margaret, the Lorikeets are gorgeous birds, I understand, with the comparison with the Starlings, and I'm including in the mix the Grackles. They are nice colorful birds, but a pain in the yard.
Lily, Congratulation, on becoming a Grandmama, soon you'll see little ones coming to the feeders.
So many wonderful shots! I've been away all day but thanks for posting your beautiful pics!
Some short Wingscapes videos of Tuffy and friends gathering horse hair for their nests. No sound, except wind.

You may have to click twice on some of these to get them to play. The wind caused the camera to take some blank shots. I deleted most of them, but a few still remain.
Last one for the night... not the best but it was a surprise!
While watching the eagle and the osprey, I saw something fly out of a tree to the right of the osprey. I tracked it across the river and managed to get one shot off. I thought it was a crow, and went back to watching the eagle and osprey. This is what I found when I got home and loaded them on the computer... a Pileated Woodpecker!
Nice shots everyone!! Elphaba thanks for starting the new thread and nice catch on the Black and white Warbler!
Hack, best wishes for you and your family, glad your mom is recovering. I just lost my Uncle recently and we were pretty close, he taught me a lot about hunting/trapping/fishing.
Been clicking a few shots here and there....this Blue Jay seems to be thinking...
OK, either you guys gotta slow down, or I need to quit taking so many photos! I don't have time to catch up here and edit my images too. LOL
Great pix you folks are sharing here, and I thank you all!
