Last one, some cuttings from moving my tree, need repotting

Merlee, wow you have a lot of plumeria. My observation on your pictures is that they are all in very small pots for their size. They would LOVE being in the ground in a sunny spot!

Joeswife, you have a yucca and a blue agave. Both will get big with plenty of pups if you give them room but they are fully tropical so maybe a large pot will do.
They would eventually flower but it may take years.

I don't know too much about bromeliads. Do they grow also in soil? I thought i saw one pictured above, in a nursery, but was with the regular houseplants. Could be something else that looks like it but I have always wanted to try one. It looks like what is pictured on post #7742804

Rita is this a dancing flame salvia that you posted and do you have yours in part shade?

I've got mine in full sun and it looks like some of the leaf edges are turning brown so I'm wondering if I need to move it to a shady spot.

Everybody's blooms are looking so good. The only thing I have blooming besides annuals is my golden cestrum; it survived the winter without a glitch.

Picked this up at The Enchanted Forest last Friday on my way to see DH.

Patti, the Flame salvia, which is what Rita is showing, tends to rot easily if overwated and the first sign would be the brown leaves. I have mine planted in an area with not the best drainage so I see a lot of brown leaves. They recover if I just stop watering altogether. It's a game we play, that plant and I.....

Debra, on the succulents from Padre Island, water them little. I think they flower but I've never seen blooms. They can get big, but pots will restrain size. I guess you have to winter protect.

Merlee, you plumie hater, you. Ditto what Dutchlady said about pots being too little yet I can't imagine planting all those inground, only to yank them out every winter. That is why I try to keep my plumie count to 10. Love them in the summer, not so much in the winter, lol. I lost my dwarf singapore pink, I will definitely replace that one, then, I'll have 11 plumies....

Thanks vossner. I will cut down on the water.

Really - digging them out for the winter is not THAT much work! Says the person who never has to do it LOL.

Hello Everyone!

merlee, That is a huge collection of Plumerias you have there!! Are they for your private enjoyment or are you selling them? I sure would like to see pictures of your yard this summer when they are all in bloom.
After seeing your maidenhair fern returning after such a severe winter, I will give it a try.
I enjoyed viewing all your pictures, I gave up trying to count how many plumerias you have . lol

RachelLF,thanks, that Philo. came from a e-bayer in Hawaii. I wish that he would come back, he always offers new cool plants.

Joeswife, I like your Mothers Turtle, you found the perfect place for it.
I too, have a few Brugs. from picks with names I can not pronounce much less spell.
I see the pretty little purple shamrock. I am glad that it's doing good for you. It will fill that pot in no time at all.

phughes,I have the Salvia in part shade, water only when I see it drooping.
I am glad to see your Cestrum looking so good, I found a red one coming back from the roots. Your pretty PINK Indigo is a new plant for me. Planted in your PINK pot.
