Most Iris are rhizomes, but some are bulbs. Rhizomes increase, not sure about the bulb kind.
She told the different types (briefly) but still seemed to be talking more about rhizomes than bulbs. Maybe she was describing Dutch irises. Rhizome is NOT a tuber by the way, should not be underground.

Pretty pics Venu. What a difference one zone makes, you are way ahead down there but it won't be too long here either for some blooms on the lilacs and azaleas.
