2010 Garden Photos - Part 5
Are the plum blossoms fragrant?
yes they are
Nice shots you guys. Spring is busting out all over the place. Love those daffs in mass planting.
Celeste, looking good. I gave in and bought two more poppies while I was in Vt at the Newfane Greenhouse. Papaver orientale Place Pigalle which is a red and white one and Patty's Plum which I have killed once already along with Glaucium flavum which is a yellow horned poppy, but I bought it for it's gray leaf.
We also brought home two flats of pansies, a fruiting quince, Azalea Rhododendron Narcissiflorum , and a White Forsythia, Abeliophyllum distichum and some white creeping phlox and a geranium.
We are doing major brush cutting here this week. But I am avoiding it while I download some shots that I took yesterday. Garden is popping! I think this is your tulip blooming here too. Unicum.
Wha, nice plum.
Hi to all in the NE Forum. Just getting caught up on everyone's gardens. I'm so happy to see that spring is here. I don't get much time for the computer these days so I probably won't be posting as much as I used to but I'll be lurking and posting when I can, I just love seeing everyone's beautiful gardens waking up.
Japanese Camellia 'Classic Pink' just beginning to unfurl...

Hi Dyane!! Beautiful bloom!
Patti, that does look like it, but the name doesn't not ring a bell.....but my memory is not good these days.^_^
I'm really intrigued in the Yellow Poppy w/gray leaves!! Pictures when in bloom please?!
Bill, nice blossoms on those tree's! Love the color of the magnolia!!!!
fixed my typo... sorry
Hey Dyane! How's the bambino? Great shots.
Good to see you, Dyane. I don't know why you can't be on the computer more. LOL.. Been there done that. Enjoy them. You'll have lots of help this year in the garden.
Great color! Glad you got Corallinum. When they survive, they are fantastic.
It's a unique color. Check out Katsura - great spring color.
All beautiful, love the backside shot of Rip Van Winkle!
I have avoided fritilaria since I had been told that the lily leaf beetle lays eggs on them as well as lilies.
That blue is lovely!! ^_^
Dyane, of course it's called 'help', but more like HELP!!!! :) Our dear granddaughter 'helped' on Saturday by picking a couple of tulips. Of course it was just the flower, so we couldn't even put them in water.
Great pics, everyone.
