Chicken soup and steak grinders. What kind of combo is that?!

Beef short ribs last night.

Ordered Chinese because I don't feel like making a meal. LOL
Instead I made:
1 doz. blueberry muffins
1 doz. cranberry-orange nut muffins
5 mini loafs of pumpkin bread

Polish night was a HIT! They gobbled everything. Managed to save 1/2 of a link of tv kielbasa and a box of chrusciki oh and about only 5 kolaczki

chrusciki ... always need a bib!!!

Mother's Day is a good reason for the guys to cook! Josh is grilling NY strips and doing a cheese tray. I steamed 4# of shrimp and made 4-5#s of potato salad last night. I still have to put my veggie tray together, so I'm gone.

this is the only holiday I get a break... we get Chinese takeout and everyone eats here... so much easier than trying to get a table out... with bad service usually... bought ice cream cake... and only made a jello mold with strawberries... and going to make some apps... figured since I get the shaft and BBQ for fathers day, Michele's birthday & my OWN birthday every year.. I deserve a break for one of them

that's nice... we used to do that years ago at a place in florum park, NJ.. the family got too big now .. just easier to do it here

DH did burgers tonight. Did them in the oven, new grill still being put together(his b-day present)

NEVER buy a grill that needs to be put together - did it once - the $20 is well spent for assembly:)

wimp!!!... Randy doesn't want one that someone else might have messed up in the store.. installed by a teenager... not worth dying over

you obviously have not had the "pleasure" of putting one together - randy is nuts:)

My huuby would do it himself too. He hates anyone else putting ANYTHING together for him/us.

Doing pasta tonight.

Rib eye steak, salad, loaded baked potato and I just made a batch of whoopie pies for dessert. Half have regular filling and the other half peanut butter filling. ^_^

Yum.....beef stew here.

We had a peanut butter whoopie pie in Lancaster PA, split it with DH, I think the whole thing had 800 calories!!

DH loves the P.B. ones.

I make a devils food cake w/P.B. frosting , it's one of Brian's & Josh's favorites.

I have helped him put 2 of them together... it wasn't that bad

DH finished the grill today. He did steaks on it tonight. The new grill is even easy for me to use.

I don't like anybody putting my stuff together. Not even my computer! lol!!

Club steaks w/steak fries & salad.

Chinese food, we're still trying to find a place we really like down here. After tonight, still looking.

Since I get home from art class after 5, dinner will be a Subway.

wife is off with her friends tonight - left over pot roast this will be the third night in a row. glad i like it.

DH is at a work event and said he'd try to bring home leftovers, I was happy not to cook

Watch out for that Romaine WC, there has been a recall in 3 States...New York is one of them :(

Yes - my mom, who works in a school cafeteria, told me about that.

I bought a head of romaine yesterday at the store, came home and read that on the headline news :( Needless to say I have not eaten any!

So that's why they were on sale... I bought last night!!

Yes, CT was on the list too....I've been buying hydroponically grown Boston for awhile, until my own is ready. Bought some pierogis a few weeks ago, & threw them in the freezer....Jersey girls....what do I do with them? Are they served with a sauce?

Boil them then fry them in butter with onions and serve with sour cream
