Don't know what happened to my post above about the two boys in Santa's lap , but either one or both can live at my house and I'll feed them cookies . Beautiful young'uns .
Kids say the darndest things
Our 10 yr old sai the other day that he used to think it was, '...and a partridge in a PANTRY' Hee hee!
Oh, that's cute.....
Hmm, I thought I posted too
That would be a good place for a partridge, too.
LOL!!
Pantry....I can see where he would get that. :)
Darby and her Dad had a little conversation last night I thought i'd share. Darby is 5, almost 6 and she's a good girl but every once in a while a mischievous thought creeps into her pretty little head......
Darby: "what if I was home alone and opened all of my presents?"
Daddy: "Well, that wouldn't be good because Santa is watching."
Darby: "Is Santa always watching me?"
Daddy: "Yes"
Darby: "Even when my underwear are off?!?!" (disgusted look)
Daddy: (awkward moment) "uhhh no Santa knows when to look"
Bravo Daddy, you handled that very well!!!
Hilarious!
Never know what they're thinking.
hahahahaha
Oh, boy!! Heehee!
That's funny!!
Another time my post didn't go through
Tarsha said the look on her face when she asked about the underwear was priceless!!
That made my day!
cute
Last time we baby sat for James and Max, James was invited to go to movies with his friend's family, so Papa took some money out of his wallet for James to take with him. James came over to me and said "did you see what Papa has in his wallet?? A money with 100 written on it!! Where did he get such a big money??" For Christmas, instead of getting the checks that all the other boys receive, we decided to give James his in cash. When he opened his little box and saw 50 one dollar bills and a 100 dollar bill, he was very silent for a moment and then looked up with very wide eyes at his cousins and said softly "I'm a millionaire!!!".
Wow....wished I couldv'e seen his face! Lucky child.....
that is a lot of cash for a kid!
All the boys get money gifts that go right into their bank account. They get enough toys and stuff from everyone else.
Girls like money too .
I've noticed...
We don't have any girl grandchildren, only 8 boys. No one to do fashionable stuff with, but they're all so tough and affectionate!!
Not to offend , but I have one boy , he has a girl and a boy , she has a boy . Wish I'd had a girl (I think ) to go with at least six boys . My boy tells everyone he didn't learn to share , so don't ask to borrow tools . LOL
We've had the girls during the day for the Christmas Holiday, today they are sleeping over and are all fired up...my husband took them for a walk and they came back muddy, wet and frozen and still fired up...they wear us out at times...I said to Sophie "how did we get rooked into being grandparents"...she said "the best ones ever!!" What a way to end the year!
That's great! At least you guys are still young! I'll be decrepit.
LoL! I couldn't do it if we weren't they have more energy than my boys ever did!!
Mine wear me out as well.....getting ready to take care of Grant once a week for 3 hours....that should be just enough time.....
Picked up Grant from pre-K at noon & I brought my dog with me....Grant noticed she was looking out the window, & said, "I like looking out the window too....trees, birds, hawks...isn't nature great?" I died laughing!
Smart kid!
Good sign!
Love it!
Got his head on straight!

Conversation with Bella this morning:
me- you need to put on your listening ears
Bell- I don't know where they are
me- well I guess you can go in your room and sit until you find them
Bell- oh look here they are in daddy's shoes.... silly ears, just that kind of day
Glad I wasn't drinking my coffee when I read that. Quick comeback.
What a cutie! Very creative thinker.....
She's going to be a handful when she hits her teens!!

Just watched a 'guilty dog' video yesterday that someone linked on facebook. The dogs need to take lessons from that kid!
