Went to help my daughter's class with a craft during their Thanksgiving party. She tells my hubby the night before "mommy is helping us with a craft tomorrow but she's not very crafty, but she'll look pretty up there in front of the class"

Thomaston, CT

Oh, a star for that little lady!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Sooo true, Jen!!! I don't know about the not crafty part, though. You have come up with some pretty great ideas for tablescapes.

The other day on the train there was a lady standing in another car waiting to get off with her, what looked to be about, a 15 month old baby. She spotted Dominic and was telling the baby to say hi...I commented how cute he/she was and wondered out loud whether ii was a boy or girl...Lucie my 5 year old GD said" Oh it's to ugly to be a girl" glad there was a glass door between us!

OMG....love those kids! My 4 year old grandson called the other day....the family had gone to VT to Santaland, or whatever...He said he saw the good fairy & the bad fairy, but they had no wings...His sis, Anni, told him they were elves, but he said he didn't believe her because elves weren't real....

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Very cute!!!

My 10 yr old said Santa Baby is a terrible song. I asked why. "Because Santa is married AND she does not even mean what she is saying to him. She just wants money and gifts!"

(I told him to get used to it...)

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Heehee.

Thomaston, CT

Smart kid! I guess I never listened to the words!

The amount of shrink is shrinking my head

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Definitely a smart boy!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

He's smart kid! I don't think you have to worry about him Victor! LOL

Just saw something on FB that just cracked me up. Not sure why it hit me so funny but I had tears coming down my eyes on this one.....

He's so right! Not at all what Santa is all about. My grandson was very upset when he realized that when he and his baby brother sat on Santa's lap something was missing.
He said "I hope that I like some of the things that Santa will bring for Max because I told him what I thought Max would like but forgot to tell him what I wanted. I guess that being a big brother means you love your brother a lot and sometimes his stuff is more important"

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Beautiful boys you got there Teri! And a good big brother too!

Mount Bethel, PA(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Everyone. All kids are beautiful, aren't they!!!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I'm not 1 to think all kids are beautiful( I know I know shocking isn't it???) If I think a baby is not good looking I'll comment on their size or their hair( or lack there of) but I'm not gonna lie and say ohhhh what an adorable baby!....my friend's baby was 1 of the ugliest babies I had ever seen. When the doctor showed him to her for the 1st time she said "that's not my baby" she even thought he wasn't beautiful
Now he is a good looking guy took about 1 year for the cuteness to kick in

Mount Bethel, PA(Zone 6a)

They're usually beautiful in their personalities when you get to know them unless they've been spoiled by their parents (not their fault).

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes I have no problem with kids with beautiful personalities and you're exactly right, my 1 nephew is gorgeous but has an ugly personality.... all my sister's fault

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

LOL@ Jen!!
When Domenic was born my first thought was oh no that's one not so cute baby! Of course as a Noni I think he's beautiful now. When Sophie was born I thought she was the most beutiful thing ever, now when I look at her first pics I wonder what I was thinking!! Thankfully she has grown into her nose. Luci actually looked African American and we laughed and joked that she was someone elses child.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL Ronnie

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Funny! Sicilian, Ronnie?? (That was always an Italian joke - Sicilians were darker than black Americans!)

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Yes Victor! Luci is very dark as was my nephew Peter.

Thomaston, CT

My MIL took one look at Garret & said "Ugly in the cradle, handsome at the table". I was very insulted....I thought he was totally beautiful, even though he looked like a string bean....but he certainly did turn out very handsome.....
