Ha ha ha!!! Love it!! Out of the mouths of babes........
Kids say the darndest things
Cute!
When we were in Saugerties, we went to see an old lighthouse, but it is now a b&b, so we could not go in. When we told our little one what that was, he said, 'Why would anyone want a bed and breakfast now - it's lunchtime!'
Perfect reasoning!
cute!
hee hee
Creative little minds!
Grandson said " Pastor likes to tell people about Jesus, and if they aren't listening he just tells them a little louder"
He does tend to get a little loud.
Really cute.....& observant....it's amazing what the little ones understand. My GD, HayHay, asked if her sweater was ready yet....when I said no, she said Mom said you need a lot of practice....so true!
Well, practice does make perfect. :)
Kids do bring a lot of joy to us.
My daughter just asked me "mommy are we debt free?"
Ha ha! Even kids can't get away from it. Good thing she didn't say, 'Mommy, are we paying Janey's mortgage?'
Every time I would ask my younger guy what he did in religion (CCD) class in first grade he would answer, 'We talked about God.'
Well, of course! He's not dumb!
Daughter went outside this morning because she wanted to "sing with the birds"
Oh, isn't she great!
My third-grader tells me today that his friend told him that 'mamsita' means sexy momma!!
Does it? My 4 year old GD wanted me to make her popcorn today, but it was too close to lunch.....she was holding the jar of kernels & I said (hoping to discourage her) gee, I don't know how to make that kind of popcorn, Anni......she said, "It's easy, Nana, you just put it in the blender!"
No - little momma.
lol the blender.....anyone for popcorn shake?
My little one asked me if I can use my iPhone to talk to people!
Is that because you're usually texting?
Not so much. Use it for all the other stuff mostly - email, internet, apps, music, etc.
He'll be a techie like his Dad!
Was talking with our youth group leader last night and she said that the teens don't know how to talk to each other anymore since all they ever do is text or e-mail or twitter, etc
Yes - I've been saying that for awhile. And it makes their writing worse too with all that shorthand crap.
Do you use your phone or computer more for internet? I'm thinking about that phone.
Computer. But the phone is convenient when I am on the couch, waiting in the car, etc. Will be even better when I get the iPad.
David rarely uses his computer anymore, I think I like the bigger screen.
Yes - any extended reading on the iPhone is a strain.
Plus, I would screw it up....need the simplest techie tools available!
Heard this morning that one Supreme court justice reads briefs on the Kindle and another on the iPad!
Yes, and that would be geezer category...oh, well....
My 4 yr old daughter says to me "when something's coming that is dark and scary it means it's ominous"
I'm say "wow! you're right! Where did you learn that?"
"Martha Speaks"....see!!! cartoons are educational!!!
My little one used to watch that. Word Girl is very good.
My grandkids don't seem to watch the eductional stuff....oh, well! HayHay is starting to read....hopefully, she'll build her vocab that way......
Great having a teacher for a grandma!
I try! Listened to HayHay read 2 books to me yesterday.....one she read perfectly....can't believe they start kindergarteners reading......I guess so many of them go to nursery school or daycare, they don't need the socialization that K used to be.......I remember taking naps in K, & hating every second ......I wanted to do things! Too bad it wasn't math!
My Hayden is learning to read to and loves it, I'm so glad!
Today I have had Ory and Bella since 10am this morning....lots of cute things came out of there mouth but Bella blue me away. We were sitting down eating when the dog walked in. I said 'Jake, go lay down', naturally Ory repeated me. The dog just stood there and did not move....Bella who just turned 2 in Jan. says "You need to have a talk with that dog! He's NOT listening!!"
I almost feel off my chair and choked on my steak!
Hahahaha very funny
My DGD who is 3 was asked yesterday if she thought her aunt was going to have a girl or a boy since they had gone to the hospital to have their baby. Her reply - that it would be a girl and they would name her Dancestar. Found out this morning that it turned out to be a boy and his name is Chicago Athanasius Dawson Mallasch. I think I like Dancestar better.
Wow, thats a mouthful Jan! Congrats to the new addition.
