My last Drawing II class meets tomorrow. The Easter Lily is due then and we will study drawing roots. I will have two homework assignments: a roots study and then a final drawing, full size, incorporating an entire plant with flowers, buds, leaves, stem and roots. For extra credit I could include dissected, enlarged flower parts, seeds, etc., noting the amount of magnification. OH BOY!! I think I'll either do a hyacinth or pelargonium geranium.

I don't know, Bill! I haven't taken a class in 20 years. I did not think I could draw this well. We'll see when I get my grade, then I'll share with you.

Good Grief - Feel good

The knee was killing me during the trip. Apparently the cortisone has done nothing. I will put off the surgery until fall.

It's going to be a painful process along with re-hab, but living with pain just from walking is plain 'no good'...
