Coffee Break #36 - Spring is finally here!
Fascinating picture, Victor.
Hope Victor is enjoying his vacation, & not too disturbed by the rain. The photo is a knockout.
was thinking of him last night - i bet the museum's do not have the traffic they would have.
Or everyone is trying to take cover in them!
Good thing there are a lot of indoor things to do in DC
gotta hate that
DS made chili tonight!
I bet that chili is hott!
Who's 'Victor' ?? Ohh, you mean 'That' Victor, ...yes I hope he's enjoying his retirement, we all have to go out to pasture sooner or later. (lol, lol!)
got to go spray the tulips when I get home tonight.. now that the rain is gone
With what & why do you spray them? Haven't hear od spraying tulips before.
liquid fence to keep the deer off em
Good idea, how long will the spray last?
with the heavy rain for 3 days... I would say it's gone... but under normal weather.. a week .. the package says spray once a week for 3 weeks.. than once a month.. but I do it more than that on the plants I really care about
keep in mind while it's wet... your backyard is going to smell like rotten eggs & beer farts... don't use it before a party
but once it dries it's all good
:)
At least it will be dry. Don't want to go sailing in it. Whwn it warms up (tomorrow?) we should have tons of daffodils. will have to redo tulips, we don't have many & they are spent. thinking of the species type.
rotten eggs and beer farts?
That sounds pretty bad, I'd take the deer instead.
or excuse me it's this miller lite.
Oh, wow!
Is spring really here? Computer is acting like it can't wake up.
Iris, Have you recently run a Spy/Mal ware search? That happened to our old model and McAfee couldn't even fix it. Gave us our money back with an apology, like that helped. We ended up taking it to an acquaintance who's in systems administration at a local college for recovery. What a mess! A Trojan or tracker can also mess you up and slow you down. Best of Luck! Ric
Thank you the computer has improved throughout the day. Spy scans run automatically on this hookup.
don't spray liquid fence in the wind... got a face full.. almost threw up
I put 2 of my feeders out today

Allison, Eeeeew!
eeeww????
Liquid Fence in your face. EEEEEW!
Trying to spray Liquid Fence with the wind today too, something got at my tulips with all that rain we had.
ok never said I was all with it.. forgot I posted that earlier.. crackin up!!
Wow it's quiet around here without Victor.
Yup! That was funny Allison.
You're right Jen.
I finished my Easter Lily. The 8 rhodie leaves took 48 hours to draw. The rhodie branch took 22 hours to draw. The easter lily took only 13 hours to draw! I'm getting faster! Lilium longiflorum, aka Easter Lily. The photo is awful. There's so much detail you don't see!
that is a lot faster... and lovely!!!... amazing how good you are getting.. I should scan the pen drawings my neighbor made of my two dogs for you guys... she gave it to me for christmas one year.. I had no idea why she wanted photos of them.. was a very nice surprise
Beautiful draftswoman ship Harper.
happy April Fools Day!!!

no humbies here, not a red flower in sight LOL
harper that is a wonderful drawing! Can't imagine what it looks like in person if there is detail that can't be seen.
Nice, Harper!
