Bill Clinton had a great line the other day. He was speaking somewhere before the heatlhcare bill was passed and said that it would eventually pass - maybe not during his or Dick Cheney's lifetime, but by Easter.
Pretty funny.
Yes, it must seem like several lifetimes with all the furor. This is a question for the Jersey girls...someone told me there are iris gardens in Montclair...anyone familiar with them?
You are probably thinking of Presby Memorial Garden which is a historical collection. google it under that name & you could probably locate it.
Sorry, RD, I don't know. Good luck finding it.
How crazy is this?!

Wow, violent dementia??? Is there such a thing?
I'm sure a lawyer thought that up.
Not that he should get off for it, he def needs to be behind bars.
No, I keep meaning to get out to Planting Fields. I'm sure it is beautiful.
My current drawing assignment is a branch. I'm doing one from my PJM rhodie. It has little buds on it. I've already spent 20 hours on it, and I'm not done yet. Tomorrow I'll finish up, then I'll post pics. My tendonitis is starting to act up, so computer time will be even less now.
time to put the feeders out!!!!!

Yeah, really. Just in time for my DC trip!
can't wait to see the pjm drawing harper
WAY too cold here for them now!
One more room to clean then I need to go food shopping, having hubby's family over for dinner Palm Sunday since we won't be around for Easter.
So glad my son is enterprising kid, I heard him this morning but thought it was a lot earlier than it was, I heard him again and asked him what time it was? 7:26 WHAT???!!!! Bus comes anytime between 7:40 and 8:00 UGh.....why didn't you wake me???
Good thing he was making his own pb&j for his lunch so 1 less thing I had to worry about but he didn't eat breakfast yet...YIKES! I can not believe I got him ready in time. Bus came about 7:42
Thanks, Iris! Surprising what kids can do, Jen....when I was 8, both of my parents worked, my sister was in HS, & my brother was in college...I got myself up, dressed, made breakfast, washed the dishes, & walked to school...my DH said it was child neglect, but way back when, my parents called it independence.
lol, Robin
Jen, my son could sleep through a freight train. How great yours got up and started going on his own!
My PJM rhodie drawing is done. Couldn't get a good photo. This one is more faint in places. It's very hard to get the detail. I'll try tomorrow after class while the sun is still up.
Next assignment: a flower.
Sounds like you're going great guns, Harper....would love to see the rhodie...any ideas on what flower?
Nice job, Harper.
DH and DD are playing with the cats with a zuzu pet!
Lovely, Harper.
Nice work Harper I so envy your talent!

Wow! A mockingbird can do some of that. Cool! I love the chainsaw one.
when we saw it on discovery channel the one was doing a hammer noise & a drill... way too cool
Great job, Harper! The atmospheric fade is cool...good luck with the lily...I paint one every year, & hope I have some left after the red lily beetle attacks...there was a hint in Brent & Becky's catalog that said to hose down the lilies, cover entire plant with wood ashes, wait 15 min. & hose off...I will try it on the survivors...if there are any.
Great Harper!
Allison, We used to have a mocking bird here that could ring like a cell phone, must have been a girl mocking bird, it sure received a lot of calls. Ric
too funny
Thanks guys! Good luck with your lilies, Marilyn.
6 more days till Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!
yeah for Mickey!!!
I know you'll have a great time, Jen.
It has been so wet lately, hard to get outside and do anything.
