Countdown to spring! One Photo per Day Part 13

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Lowes has been getting a lot of good, varied plants lately, a couple of times last year I had ordered plants and found them in Lowes before my plants came in, (and they were obviously bigger and healthier at the local Lowes!) Now I make sure I check them out before I place an order! lol!

- Tiramisu is a slow grower for me too, seems to struggle a litte bit more than Citronelle to get established, - smaller too. Never had H Gingerale, I was tempted though, good to know about it's 'under-performance' beforehand!☺

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

I was at lowes yesterday and did not even check the nursery! Did not even think about it while i was there probably because of the rain and was buying some lumber on the other side of the store. That would have never happened at HD where i usually go even if my wife is waiting for me in the car i'll do a quick fly by. I'll be in the area again in two weeks and will check them out. still looking for another forest pansy which i think you got at one of the last year. HD only has eastern redbud right now.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

"Miracle" taken the last week of Feb/first week of March 2010, was planted last summer. This one is Maine tough! ^_^

- yep, I got my forest pansy at one of the nurseries here, 7' tree with a root ball that took two men to haul it in! lol! shows some buds now, but no color yet.

- Miracle is aptly named, those Maine winters are brutal! Looks big & healthy!

Thomaston, CT

Miracle is on my wish list......I have that large, new bed that needs edging plants.

Thanks Patti.
Lovely phlox onewish. I don't have any of the volcano phlox. Nice deep color.
Pretty clem pic WC. Love that brilliant blue color.
Nice heuchs you guys. Maybe tomorrow I can get out to check if anything is sprouting in the heuch section of the part shade bed after things dry out a little.

South Hamilton, MA

green leaves coming where all the DL are planted.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Here is a pic for today. Pretty campanula glomerata 'Superba'. It needs protection from the ground hog I have found.
IrisMa the DLs are growing here as well. Also noticed that most of the delphs are popping up too. Hope all this rain doesn't discourage them.
