Although I think I should add that the pictures that have been posted are nice and turned out well. And a very big thanks to Julie, lol! :)
Greenshed Party
You all look cute to me, and happy!! Great pictures everyone. I love your garden, Willow. It looks like a garden to live in with all the comfortable nooks, and obviously the gnomes are right at home there too.
But gosh, there's never been a bad picture of Osita, has there?
My heart really was warmed by how beautifully you all treated her. She is my darling & she had the BEST weekend.
She is a very handsome dog.
Gwen that is a ground cover. I think I had the wrong name on it but it is Geranium maculatum (Cranesbill, Native Geranium).
Thanks, Linda. I love the hardy geraniums. My big problem with them is that when they start coming up, I can't tell the dif between them and buttercup. So I let it all come up, then the buttercup crowds the geranium out and they die. :(
Well, obviously there was some sort of filter on those cameras since they failed to capture the hotness that was our group of ladies (and Michael). We all look just like these pictures... but multiplied by a gorgeous factor of at least 10. And that's not even factoring into the equation the amount of random plant facts contained in all those beautiful brains.
Seriously, I had such a wonderful time. You all were just as warm-hearted and lovely as I expected (newbie jitters aside).
I woke up at 6:30 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep because all I wanted to do was go plant my new acquisitions. What a gorgeous day to spend in the garden after such inspiration! Thanks to all of you, but particularly to Willow for hosting us all in such generous fashion.
Looks like a great party!!! Loverly pics of you all. Now I can put some more names to faces. Not that I'll remember in 2 hours, but for now, it's great.
Thanks for the pics for those of us who couldn't make it. Glad you had such a nice sunny day. Willow, your place looks gorgeous. Newly inspired to go tackle some of my less than neat spots...
Looks like a great time. Loved the pictures. Willow have fun in the greenshed. Your garden is spectacular.
I'm glad you all had a great time - more photos please! Willow, enjoy that wonderful greenshed! What a nice addition to your lovely garden.
well, there's a terrible picture! I think I must make grumpier faces than I realized, yowch. Mid-swallow and putting the cup down, or debating if I want to put the cup down, maybe? :( On the other hand, at least I was having a reasonably good hair day. ;)
Summer, you have nothing to complain about after this one, lol.
HA! You were thinking: "The more champagne I drink, the less will be available for Summer, who is my driver."
(hic!)....who, me???
No, you were finishing swallowing. Can't judge anything from a swallowing picture.
I knew I liked this crowd when I saw how much we appreciated the champagne. Nice call, Patricia!!
I did forget to say thank you for the fuchsia. I have just the place to put her.

Yes, thank you for the fuschia! I'm going to try mine in a pot.
And thank you to everyone for all the plants you brought - I have about half of them in the ground so far, so am doing good!
I found a tiny hellebore and some tiny veggie laying out on the timber so I planted them. I wonder if they will survive? You are very welcome, I hope the fuchsias do well. I must get some for myself today. Still having problems posting pictures. Don't know if it's me or 'them'.
I don't check in for a while and look what yall did. LOL
Love the pics of everyone having a great time....
sorry but on the pic with the chocolate cake, my eyes first went to it.... thinking if I was there it would have a slice gone out of it....
thanks for sharing all the pictures.
Garden touring is a wonderful thing!
Janet
That cake was excellent! Very gooey.
Yes, the cake was wonderful! I had to move it further away from me because it smelled so good. :) I even tried not to look at it. ;)
susybell
how could you not look at it, that was the first thing I saw when I clicked on the photo....LOL
well I'm glad yall enjoyed it cause ya didn't know you were enjoying if for me too....I lost my sense of smell and taste a few years ago, so just reading your yummy description is like having a piece right here.... could smell and taste....
Janet
Did you all notice my beautiful yellow apron? Lynn made it for me. I have to hang the gift from Julie and Sharon then I will post it. I did find a spot to put it up.
I was just thinking about that today. It was so thoughtful of Julie and Sharon and of Lynn to bring you those gifts. What a handy thing to have a potting apron and the "must have" gadgets holder in your new greenshed.
I went to FM to pick up some fuchsias and they were all gone. So I bought three purple leafed 'thrift'. I really like those. Next sunny day I will be planting plants and seeds.
Micheal has asked if I could forward the group picture we took in the courtyard for him to post on facebook. Need to know if it is okay with everyone that was in it. So if you were here, let me know how you feel about it. Thanks
It's okay with me.
For those of you on FaceBook who want to connect with him, there are lots of Ripple Effects. Michael is "The Ripple Effect Inc", listed as a local business with about 82 fans.
I'm ok with it as long as I'm not identified or tagged.
Same as Susybell's response.
I'm OK as long as I'm not identified as the Little Dutch Boy in the back.
Fine with me.
Summer - LOL
I've fine with it.
ok with me
Thanks everyone. Only Julie to answer.
Willow, that is very considerate (and proper) of you to ask permission from everyone. Bravo for manners.
^_^ Thanks
