Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

glad it did not damage anything - you had me looking out back at the 4 or 5 100 ft. white oak all still standing - sounds like fire wood is available.

Connecting to the space station??? Nope - a tunnel at the NYBG. Talk about out of place.

Interesting, never seen that tunnel...

Dwarf Sea Holly, has long roots about 7"), keeping them in sphagnum moss in a vertical container on top of a heating mat, (next to some dahlias I'm starting).

Strange plant, Victor!

Between my camera's poor quality, my careless photography attitude and glare from the lamp, the photo here loses a lot. Six of nine. Getting closer to the end.

Great aspirations. We'll be paying for her irresponsibility for years. Outrageous.

They'd better go easy on that sugar water, or they too will become disgusting...

Cool! Can't wait to see them. I'm thinking of getting one of those feeders that attaches to the window.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

My Mother had her 2nd home built a certain way so that she could best see her feathered friends! LOL I'm serious though....she had a log home built on the lake and her kitchen sink was to sit in a corner with windows on both sides. Then she had feeders attached to the wood that sperated the 2 windows so that she could enjoy the birds while doing her dishes. In the livingroom she had glass sliding doors leading onto the deck. Poles were inserted into the deck for feeders and houses. The other big bay window over looked the lake but that vie wasn't enough....she had one of these put on either side of the big bay.

It takes a little 'manliness' to make women nicer. ^_^
