Mine are white. My gf in Tennessee told me about them. Bought mine at a local nursery. Slow grower though, but TOUGHER than my magnolia janes.
Yikey.. got some errands to run so I'll grab the camera for you.

Have a good day, don't work too hard!
Oh oh oh oh!!!!! I'm zipping it because I want to ask why in the world she's such an idiot!! Yesterday when she got the mail she gave me a check that I'm not supposed to get, it's supposed to go to another gal. I told her that it's a check and I'm not supposed to get them, she is well aware of this and has never given me a check before so I don't know what she was doing, and assumed she didn't know what she was doing either. I put it in the gal's mailbox. Just a bit ago I was at the filing cabinet and remembered that I had put the check in her box, it turns out that Ms. Cheerful had a stack of checks she put in the box also, but in a different box (this person works a part time job out of this office, that has to do with this office but is a different intitiy, so she has two mailboxes.) The gal who takes the checks was leaving for the weekend and I told her that I put a check in her box, does she want to do something with it now or leave it there til Monday?" Ms. Cheerful yelled, "I put checks in your box too, but MINE are stamped, Christine's isn't." Oh ladies and gentlemen, she set me up for that like I'm not doing my job, but I'm ignoring it, I've got to laugh because it's her job to get the mail, stamp the back of the checks, and make sure they get to the appropriate person, so she just backstabbed herself, and she's thinking that she made me look bad.
LK, I should have told to look in the wood. They like to live in damp rotted wood.
Crissy, you are having too much fun with Ms Cheerful, lol
She's something else. One of the other gals just came back and said that we should have told her it was so cold outside LOL I said that it's 10* colder than yesterday and windy. She said that it's colder now than it was this morning, I agreed and Ms. Cheerful started yelling that she hasn't been outside since 7am and she was sorry but she didn't know, like everyone was asking her specifically. The woman has some serious problems, I'd say.
I get lost for six weeks....or more.....
... and Crissy is still having problems with that same co-worker? LOL but of course!
Time to turn your back, Crissy girl, to EVERYTHING she says and does. Start walking away and tune her OUT. if she walks up to you, turn around. If she walks into your cubicle, escort her out. If she calls you, interrupt, do not apologize, say you're busy, and hang up. No apologizing. The MOST CHRISTIAN thing to do is to stop letting her bug you. If someone else tries to discuss her with you, stop them. tell them you don't want any information about her or what she's doing.
at some point, my Dad's words apply here: God made her too. It's not for you to decide, or to judge her. Go your own way, and do a giant sidestep around her way.
Hard to do at work? yeah. Impossible? no. The sooner you start trying, the easier it will becomes.
Your situation just reminds me too darn much of me and ex. When someone's actions pushes your buttons, it's very very hard not to react. But it will ruin your health and happiness long before it harms the irritating individual.
The Myers Briggs personality survey actually lists two types. I don't recall the labels they use, but the two types are described as: the personity that will cause ulcers in others, and the personality that tends to get an ulcer from the first personality. Your co-worker and my ex are the first, you and I are the 2nd. (ex and I took the Myers Briggs as part of counseling, and that's the results reported back to us)
There came a day I just stopped caring what ex said or did. That was my Independence Day. After a year of turning my back on him, it became easy. After another year, it was second nature to not listen. After a 3rd year, I realized he had no buttons left to push.
That's where you need to get yourself to, Crissy lady.
sounds like I need to investigate cheddar poppers from Sonice - ! LOL
Evening.. I'll catch up tomorrow as my body screams "TIRED"!!
So, bidding you all a good night sleep..
Hi Jaye - tried to call you 2x from work, and once from home - guess I missed you all 3 times.......
Hope you and Kel are feeling better
Morning!
A simple lunch for anyone that's hungry. How about a turkey melt?
No sodas, just some old fashion iced tea.
Sorry Susan.
Thought Kel could rest when he closed the shop for the day, but around 2, we had to leave the house to take care of urging matters and then had truck problems coming home.
I think we both have full blown bronchitis and what's coming up from our lungs are green phlegm.
I was given antibiotics and Kel's doctor just prescribed him Allegra.
Thank God we both had our pneumonia shots.
And if you're able to get hold of me, I'll be squeaking most of the time!!!! Judy could barely understand what I'm saying :(
Well, off to pick up my sewing machine.
Have a good Saturday!
Jaye, if Kel's coughing up green, he needs antibiotics! I take allegra 180 every day, but it wont help that! All the stress is why you're both so sick. I just can't seem to conquer mine! I'm on my 3rd. round of antibiotics. This time he gave me a cough capsule, and it helps!
((((((((Jaye & Kel))))))))))))
you're right, when I talked to you, you were squeaking :-(
poor sweethearts!
Take care, and God Bless!
that is the test my doc always uses - cough up green = antibiotics on the double.
Susan, it hurts when I laugh, cough and sneeze. I know I'm getting better as the mucus is coming out clear and the coughing, lesser.
Bon, I don't understand why Kel's doc didn't prescribe antibiotics. Kel refused to take any of mine, and if he doesn't get any better, he's going back to the doctor Monday!
So if you're on your 3rd rounds of antibiotics, Audrey.. you too must be stressed out!
Got back from picking up my sewing machine. It has blown a fuse!! Goodness... do machines get stressed too?
Jaye, I think I was born stressed out! Yes, I've been stressed about Lisa and my grandson and his family. It creeps up on you, and before you know it, it's fullblown!
I need to take my machine to the shop, too. Maybe it needs an antibiotic!
The mechanic said that my machine's not getting enough juice from whatever outlet I'm using.. but then I use the same outlet for all the other back up machines and they're doing fine!!
Probably it needs some Bailey's to perk it up!!!
Good night everyone. Hope your Saturday's been a wonderful one.
Oh what a beautiful morning! I'm feeling better. my 4th day of iodine treatments, and I've got ENERGY again! Yippee!
didn't make it to church....again. Ah me. My college big sister reminded me today that I really need to rejoin a Bible study. haven't been to one in a long time.
Well, folks, Randall made the bacon. I've got fresh milk, orange mango juice, eggs scrambled with just a touch of marjoram added, white or whole wheat toast, and grape jelly. Y'all just come on and grab your plates Ruth's soccer game cancelled - fields are sodden from the rains. But the sun is out now and I'm going to go weed something! (yeah, duh, irises, of course - everything else is well mulched! LOL)
Jaye, I know many doctors, even mine, hesitate to prescribe antibiotics unless they are certain they are needed. They are over-prescribed as it is. BUT, green is green.
Also, Dad is electrical engineer. He says to test your outlet - it may have developed a loose wire or a short that blew your machine's fuse. a loose wire would not trip your home's breaker, either. But it would stress your machine.
Crissy lady, hang in there - and SING A HAPPY making SONG!
please bear with me my sistahs. i'll be "nothing but irises" for the next 2.5 months! LOL
Hello everyone, i have been so sick just can't perk up, sit up long..I go to dr. again tomorrow so will see. I had a migraine i thought head was going to explode or go flying off~~ its only 50% now so i can cope some.
Jaye you got a really super man and he has super wife so its to be.
Everyone be well take care many blessings..
Thanks Synda
(waiting to hear crissy laughing across country)
HA HA HA HA HA LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!
Sorry, went MIA! Relaxed yesterday and today it's so nice and sunny we went out and dug weeds for awhile!
All of you who are sick, GET WELL!!!!!! Jaye I agree that Kel needs to be on antibiotics. I get bronchitis 2 times a year, except for this year, and he definitely needs to be on antibiotics. I like Advair but most insurances don't cover it and it is expensive. Get him to the dr!
Dave's friend passed away last night, he was diagnosed a month ago with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. This is what happens when you have symptoms for 3+ years and refuse to go to the dr.
now THAT is a pretty picture, Synda!
Synda - our realtor won't list the trailer until we hear back from the mortgage broker that we CAN get a mortgage. They emailed me asking for more info, now they have enough, will review the info on Monday and let us know our mortgage allowable on Tuesday.
Then, and only then, will our realtor list the house. He doesn't want us to make changes to the "decluttering" or changing our house in any way just yet.........
So, I'm sewing, and clearing up some quilt projects that are Just About Done (BOMs, for instance - I have two that I have to take into the shop tomorrow! yikes! - good thing I'm putting together the 2nd one lol)
Well, 1/2 hr more on the 2nd block, then we have supper, and go bowling!
btw Synda - I'm Not Gonna stress......... until the house has been ready for showing and not sold for 2 months......... so I have quite awhile until then LOL
We want to be in a house (with a basement!!) before October.
♫♪~§usan~♪♫
Good luck Susan, we will be praying for a good deal, selling and buying!
I finished the Downy quilt today. I hope the next one does better. I think I'm gonna try a much bigger needle. That workd when I hem jeans. I'll start on the other one tomorrow.
Thank you Synda, that is a gorgeous picture!! I'll be sure and tell Dave.
Man, this time change is kicking my rear! I love what this time change does but I don't like the repercussions of it! LOL!!
So me and Diana next door were walking her Bichon dog last night and were looking at some daffodils down by the creek just a few feet away from the road that we would love to dig up, they never bloom because they don't get any sun, but then we found a Water Moccasin sitting up on the dirt gutter, so maybe we won't be getting those daff's, I personally think they're fine right where they are! LOL I hate having those so close to the house, I thought all we had were black rat snakes. Not Good!
I have a ton of work to do, plus we're going to have a staff meeting at 9:15, so I'll try to come back later!
LOL Crissy, I think he might have been telling you to leave them alone!! Mine, mine, mine
Be careful of those water mocassins, Crissy. Yep.. they're claiming the daffs!
Couldn't help not making an appearance here yesterday. The whole day had been hectic and when we got home, I found the keyboard went kaput!
This morning, I had to push Kel to the doctor to prove to him that he does need antibiotics, and moreover we both need some sleep.
He's prescribed Amoxillin with codeine. Poor man will finally get some much needed rest.
Took a little nap and woke up to one eye, crusted shut. Oh well, got to get some Visine.
Susan, wish I could help you pack. Guess your box will wait till you move?
Audrey, that's a smart idea!! Never thought of using a bigger needle.
I know this is a little late, but that grub really, really looks like the grubs here that turn in to Japanese Beetles. I'd do whatever I can to get rid of the buggers now before they turn in to plant eating machines!!!!
I'm back! Didn't get to meet up with Marion, but did get to see my two grandsons and their parents and both my brothers. So it was a wonderful trip all in all! I'm glad to be back home though...I missed my hubby!!
Cookie, hope the visit will keep your blues away for a long, long time!!
Nothing like being with the ones you love!
Now go back to appreciating your hubby!! And yes, take that shower first!!
hahahahaha Jaye - I likely won't even be thinking of moving until late summer! and it's not even Spring here yet.
We haven't heard from the mortgage broker as to what he thinks we can afford for a mortgage and, until the realtor hears, we can't even list our trailer.
I should hear from him tomorrow.
We're hoping to be in a house before October. ^_^
Jaye - tried to call you, but you likely have the phone turned down so Kel can sleep.....
Poor you....
(((((((((Jaye & Kel))))))))
Cookie, glad to hear you back home safe and sound. Glad to hear you had a good time, but nothing beats being back home!
Hey Susan!! I didn't turn down the phone, but couldn't hear it!!!!
Oh no.. I'm deaf now!!!
Food will heal Kel... so we're off for some din-din.
I do like the time change, but missing the extra hour I could sleep. Still so light out and my clock tells me to get dinner going.
Went to the doctor today about DH's shoulder. Well, none of the other treatments they tried worked so looks like surgery is the only option left. Doctor said he has to see a regular MD first, then looking over his medical history will see if he is a low, medium, or high risk. That could be about 3 weeks from now, then by the time he is ready for surgery is may be another month. He surely is looking forward to no more pain, but months will follow for therapy and healing. His main concern now is it will be a long time before he can go fishing. That man has a one track mind.
I'm trying to find a workable time to have my hair cut and permed. The gal who does it in her own home is a working gal and now has twin grandbabies to take up her spare time. Hoping we can find a time before too long. Thinking I may dye it after the cut and perm, really hating all this gray. Not looking so old can really lift up your spirits.
Good Morning Everyone!!!
I know! I'm afraid to walk across the lawn now!
We have office coffee here if anyone would like some, not the greatest but it can be diluted.
Susan I am really hoping you get approved for a mortgage loan. There is nothing better than home ownership.
Well busy busy busy busy day today, so I'll try to come back but not promising anything.
Thanks Crissy, I hope your day at the office had been a good one.
Susan, hope you got the news you want sistah.
Pegi, it sure would be a nice thing if we can replace our aging limbs and organs with brand new ones with NO intrusive surgery.. like the autos!!!
You have a wonderful attitude, and that will help your husband so much in enduring his pain. Bet the minute he's able to fish.. you'll gladly pack his bait!!
I've posted the following in the other building:
Ran some errands after Kel returned from the oncology center. Thank God, his dad managed to get his treatment today.
Part of my errands was to drop off packages at the post office. I wonder sometimes what happens to good ole fashion courtesy.
This little post office has a small parking space, and there was 1 spot left.
But.. can't make use of it as a car deliberately parked sideways that the rear took 1/3 of the other space.
I'm already not feeling good and forced to park across the road means trying to juggle two big boxes!!! No, I didn't lose my religion but instead ask the Lord to bless the driver and return some common sense and ethics for the sake of ALL humans!!
The next stop was to the newspaper office. I was tempted to ask the owner there, who's also the sole reporter and chief editor, to report on the growing trend of inconsiderate motorists in a small town.
But I said to myself, just to be thankful I managed to cross the road safe..
Kel's doing a double dose on his cough medicine. That single tspn just doesn't do it for a 6' 3" man weighing 250!!
Crissy, unless you live on the waters edge, you should be OK! They like the water.
Jaye, glad to hear that Murdock had his treatment today! Still praying that your meds will kick in soon, and start the healing process! Get a good nights sleep. I will pray for the inconsiderate drivers also! So many of them all over the place!
