My DH is insane this evening too, talk about a bad mood, or some kind of mood, and I thought I was the one PMSing! I'm looking for new tires for my darn all wheel drive crossover and it's turning into being the biggest pain! We can't afford them first of all, so I got a quote on some Cooper tires today at $151.00 each, haven't made a decision, haven't gone in to look as I'm not sure of Cooper tires, he accused me of falling for someone's stupid trick, being talked into things too fast and just went off. I told him I hadn't done anything and to shut up, I just wanted to tell him. He went off again about how I sit in front of a computer for 50 hours a day and never research anything, unbeknown to him I have been researching this for 3 days straight now, I try to tell him that, he just goes off in this screaming rampage again. What's funny is I never did get mad or yell, I just wanted to eat my dinner! Got him calmed down a bit later and he started in again about how I'm spending too much money and how we have way too many bills... now I just paid 3 bills today; water, car/home insurance, and cell phones. We have 5 more bills due at the end of the month; gas/electricity, dish tv, satellite internet, truck payment, and student loan. Keep in mind we live out in the woods so we don't get cable/dsl. Those are all the bills we have! I'd say we're very blessed to not have credit cards or medical bills, and to complain about it?????? I'm sorry, I have a problem with that. I paid off everything I could when he was working all of that overtime, I don't know what else I can cut. I'm just trying to stay away from him, seems every time I open my mouth he thinks I'm insulting him in some sort of fashion. I'm really getting tired of his mood swings, I will say that.

Sorry for the rant! lol
Twyla & Crissy............ I'm sending blessings your way - sometimes husbands can be so unruly, but when I think that way about mine, I also think how I'd feel if he wasn't here.
I remember a movie I saw a looooooooong time ago - 1960's I think - where the mother gave her daughter (newlywed) a book on dog obedience. The mother said everytime her new husband started acting up, to read to see what the book said to do if a dog acted the same way. In other words, "train the dog with kindness, rather than harsh words". too funny, but it worked - the new hubby responded with love, too (just like a dog would LOL)
So, consider that at some point he may not be there, and treat him like a dog!! LOL
Cindy, if your mum likes him, then you might got the right one.
Too bad we can't see him in the flesh, if not you'll be getting our opinions! But then, if you're happy, that's all that matters, right?
Twyla, I don't know how you do it everyday living with him. You certainly have supernatural patience.
You're right all women have their own beauty.
Crissy, it seems that Dave's letting his frustrations out, in a wrong way.
I'm sure he feels terribly guilty for not being able to contribute to the household finances, and he's just mouthing off without thinking!
Tomorrow will be another day. He'll be complaining about the color of the wall!
Oh my!! Then maybe sister Twyla and Crissy can heed those words... treat your 'dog' with kindness!!!
Grinning here!
I still can't believe I have Kel. Got to be the Lord's doing, right Susan?
Good night ladies.
LK spring is definitely on its way. Can't wait for my hummers to appear.
Good morning ladies!
Coffee's ready and how about some warm blueberry muffins this morning. Not freshly baked, but warmed in the microwave.
Hey there LK's black chinned hummingbird.. some nectar for your breakfast..
We haven't seen a single hummingbird last year. Neither did my MIL who faithfully leaves out feeders every year. I hope they return this year.
Hey Maid M. Busy schedule this morning?
Oh my yes it is busy. Monday and yesterday I turned down a total of 11 vendors--all Nurseries and this morning, 2 arts and crafts, 3 more nurseries and 1 entertainer. I do believe our 20 years of hard work is now reaping it's rewards!!! That is why I continue doing this I think.
Going to take a break tonight and go to a "Tea Party" and dinner out. Hummm, wonder if Kizmo wants to join me. LOL
thanks for the blueberry muffins--my favorite other than chocolate.
Oh it gets better!! I came in this morning and went to get a cup of coffee, Ms. Cheerful comes in a half hour before I do and always makes coffee as she drinks it. I saw the coffee pot with just drops in it, exactly like it was last night, and the coffee grounds were wet and in this blob, so I dumped the coffee grounds, rinsed out the pot and went to start a new one. The coffee maker was full of water, so then I thought that she started to make the coffee and got interrupted, so went to get a filter and no filters left. So I looked around for a bit, she's sitting at her computer typing away on a personal email not paying any attention to me, so I asked her if we are out of filters, she got this blank look on her face and said that she thought there was another box. Anyway, we both were looking around for another box of filters for a good 10 minutes and she suddenly looked up like the light came on, and said, "Well Christine you should have asked! I started the pot of coffee but right when it started dripping I turned it off to make my oatmeal and never turned it back on! I don't know why you didn't ask, you should have asked."
OMG!!!
I know you're about to blow that fuse, but you're the smart one Crissy. She's asking for an argument, and you're not giving in to her shenanigans.
One solution to that.. bring your own coffee in a thermos, or if you have a microwave, instant coffee.
Can't stand someone who claims to be God loving and somehow failed to follow the golden rule!
Maid M., for next year's fair, you all just might have to make spaces to add more vendors, since it's so popular.
Next year too, it will be no longer your headache I hope.
Haven't seen Kizmo.. she might have secluded herself in her new bathroom ;)
ROFLOL, we have thought about cutting down some trees and etc in the gardens for more space but somehow, the director doesn't approve. Can you imagine that?
Hi Ya All,
Jaye I think all of you would approve of Doug. He is so sweet and so cute, lol. I love to watch him talk he makes some of the funniest facial expressions. He has fallen hard for me. He wants me to move in now. I told him nope not gonna happen for awhile. Need to take care of all my problems before I think about another live in relationship. I told "I have a lot of crafting stuff" lol. He was here yesterday and I showed him my craftroom. He said that he could fix up one of the bedrooms into a craftroom for me. He keeps telling me he is in this for the long haul and thay I am not getting away from him.
He met my mom also, she asked if he likes to fish. I told her yes she said "That's a good thing". So I think she likes him a little. At least she was nice to him and did talk with him.
Crissy, I have always had Cooper tires on my cars. As amatter of fact I just put 4 new ones on my 4 runner at $143 a piece.
Sounds like he is a keep Cindy, but I agree, get to really know him before making that commitment!
I pray God be with you Cindy when you make the decision. You deserve all the happiness you can get.
Pretty sure Cookie's having a grand time with her family in Florida.
Kim, if you're reading this, would love to see the hula paintings!
Hoping the realtor give you some good news Susan.
Kel has an early doctor's appointment tomorrow so I better be going to bed now.
I know they're good Cindy, but Dave has a beef with them just like I have a beef with Good Year, just one of those things. LOL!
Check this out from last night ya'll!

Jaye LOL!!! She lies about everything, it doesn't matter who says what about anything she's done it better or had the same exact thing! I was showing pics of my dad's '56 Chevy way back when, when it ran, she said that her and her husband had a brand new one, except she wasn't born until 1958. I was talking to another gal in the office and she started in on how I'm talking to myself, she really needs to quit worrying about what I'm doing. Maybe this is mean, but it was so nice those three months she was sick all those days. The office ran so much more smoothly, and there was none of this bickering and harassing. She will go from private office to private office talking to everyone for about 10 to 15 minutes each. Ha! Someone just sneezed and I said, Bless You, she followed it with And your family and children too! Yea right! She wouldn't know what blessing is.
Thank you, LK - I thought people had forgotten my birthday today.....
Happy Birthday Susan ♪♫♪♫♪♫!♥♥ I sent you wishes on FB , early am...
Happy birthday, Susan!
Thank you.
'fraid I can't get on FB from work lol
I slept in until the time I was supposed to be on my way to work LOL
Watch out folks.. this year will be a year of severe allergy attacks!
That's what Kel's doctor predicted on account of the unusual winter we've been having.
We called WM to price his "Allegra" and they quoted $56. Whereas at a local pharmacy it's $28.
Imagine the price difference?
So.. I guess to make up the difference of the $4 special WM offered :(
Dark clouds hovering and we're getting Maid M's favorite weather!
Bless your heart Crissy!! She must act the same way towards her family too. Imagine if she's your MIL..
Happy Birthday Susan!! May today be a perfect day for you!
Talking about prices! My neighbor was given a RX. for the same cough capsules that I have, and our ins. wont cover them. Her prarmacy wanted $54.00 to fill it. We took it to mine and they filled it for $14.00. Needless to say, she had all her RX. transfered to there! Hers was Walgreens.
Looks like he's getting ready to "transform"! There may be more. Is it time for cicadas?
That's a big difference Audrey. I call this type of ridiculous gouging business... the 'pooring' of America.
LK, can't help you there! Insect ignorant here!
Happy Birthday Phyllis!! WIshing you a joyous birthday!
Audrey, transfrom into what?
welll hellooo,
Haven't been on in what seems like ages!
Waiving Hey Kim! So glad you like Miss Flamingo...lol, I fell in love with her for you too.
Thanks you and Sue Tchi for the fun loving night.
Oh and got to tell ya, Jacob says he will take the weights outta your basement!!
Thunder, I got Miss Flamingo from JoAnnes Last year! Just when Kim moved into her house. And I was real lucky too because she was the last one on the shelf, she kept calling Flamingo Kim, buy me, buy me...LOL, had to go scrounge the car for change lolol...Kept meaning to send her, but...it took my finding Kims phone number, give a little ringle jingle and Ohwah!, got to meet Susan and an incredible mini sistah jammie party!
Hey Cindy!!! You go girl, love that you have met Mr. Right? Sure hope so, Doug looks like a great guy...
From the time you have spent and meeting his mumma sounds like a wonderful match, I am so smiling and praying for your happiness together.
Twyla, Sending your big giant Armwraps! lol, I sure can relate. my DH hasn't worked in a while and he is like a big ol caged lion. Drives me a bit on the bonkers side.
Happy Birthday to you Susan, happy Birthday to you.
I am glad to see somewhere you were able to sleep in.
I have been seeing you are in the midst of selling your home. So i wish you much success with that.
...Have you tried the The St. Joseph approach? Here is what to do in case you never heard of it.
Get a statue of St. Joseph and ask his blessing in selling your home and guiding you with finding a rep-lacement...
Then you plant him in your farthest part of your property.... It is supposed that your house will sell and you find another, withing so much time, forgot how long, but it's fairly quick.
We have done this several times and be it really with the help St Joseph, I like to beleive, or just plain luck, Did work.
Oh gosh, got to run again, be back shortly, i hope,...L:OL, tons to post yet.
Enjoy the afternoon!
First time on-line today ---HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSAN. Hope it's a special one for you.
lol, I am back!
Uh Susan, forgot to say, when you plant him he is to be head down and facing your house!
Jaye and Kel, I hope you have been "feeling" the love, Have been thinking of you two each and every day.
so sorry that you both are or have been ill...Sending giant armwraps, enough for the both of you together.
I sure ope by now you are both feeling better. yikes, but allergies are the pits, i feel for all with it. DH gets it every year and fortunatley I have only suffered it once in my life, that was totally enough for me.
Well, I have seen somethings been up with Kels, business! Yikes, hoping things will settle. I know it's not much, but you know when one door closes another opens with a great fury, embrace what is to come. I pray it will all be a success.
Kel, i am so glad for you to have been able to spend extra time with your cousins. I know the timing wasn't that great, but I sure hope your dad is doing better. This pain will go away, and personally I am just so glad you are there for him.
I hope his next appt. will go through and that it isn't bad.
Jaye, sistah dear! Sure hope you are feeling better. had thought of calling you but I don't want to disturb any rest you need!
OH MY GOSH...Linda Kaye, how exciting to have the hummers home!! What a great picture! LOL, thought of you immediately yesterday, I SAW 2 Robins in my yard!! Woohooo, welcome and spring has sprung.
Aren't they just a Pretty sight to behold.
Here's a picture!!
Judy, I wish we h ad robins here. Our sign of spring is when the mesquite trees bud. They are budding now, so no more frost!
Linda, I don't know what it'll transform into!
I think our robins stay here year round!
Oh man LK, that looks like the same thing I found when I was living in Marysville. But I can't remember what they are called. But I do remember that they eat the roots of trees and kill them. Maybe I can go back thru last years post and see if I can find where I posted it.
I am just amazed at the size of that thing. I have seen grubs before, but Wow, at least three inches long!
As long as I don't see them around here LK!
Sistah Judy, you got D-mail.
You and LK are certainly lucky to have winged visitors!
I thank you for your love and I mean that from the very bottom of my heart.
Kel closed the shop for another day today knowing he can't handle things by himself, sick like that and it rained anyway.
Took a long nap.. did some egg craft.. and off to dinner.
If enquiring minds want to know what we have for dinner... we had Sonic's burgers!! One of those time when we crave for bad food!!!
The best bacon cheese burger and of course some poppers to go with that.
On our way back, I noticed the star magnolia has blooms!!!! How did I miss that this morning??
Certainly I am given the sign that life continues!
Jaye, I love the cheddar poppers from Sonic, with ranch dressing! Yummm!
Off to look up star magnolia's!
LK, I remembered what those ugly things are. They are Woodborers here is a link
http://insects.tamu.edu/extension/bulletins/b-5086.html
Thanks Cindy. He was bird food yesterday, a big old blackbird ate him!
Morning everyone!
Ahhh.. mother nature takes care!
Good morning LK.
Did you look up online on the star magnolia? I'm yet to step out of the door and take a pic. Yard's swimming in water!! Might have to wear waders..
Coffee is on, hot biscuits with a side of gravy and Crissy's favorite.. bacon!
Poor Kel was up coughing last night and didn't get any sleep. We'll be convalescing together. Such is love!!!
Judy, thank you for calling. That will be the only time you can control the convo!!! LOL.
You all have a wonderful day!
That's good that the bird ate it. I had left the ones that i found and the birds wouldn't go near it. You may want to check the area where you found it for more. I found 3 big ones and then a big nest of little ones.
Last night we went to my grnadson's high school band concert. The first part was boring, almost fell asleep. Then they brought out the jazz band then my grandson's band. He was so tired because he had been up since 5:30, went snowboarding with his dad, step dad and a friend. They got back home at 5:30 and his perfomance was at 9:00. Took some pictures but they turned out to blurry.
Cindy, thanks for letting me know there may be more, I will go dig around a bit, and look for them!
Jaye, I did look them up, looks like they are white or pink blooms, and oh so pretty. I have not seen any of them down here!
