Well my TV has made it to Cleveland Ohio,They called today and said they only come in my area on Thursdays ,so it should be here between 2 and 6 pm.I'm anxious I could pee my pants.......LOL.

I am working on the downy quilt project today. I have the top done, and now I need to put the batting, and back on, should be done by tomorrow.

I ran into a problem with my top moving! I'm repinning the whole thing, if this doesn't work, I'm lost! I'm gonna order a walding foot tomorrow from Sears.

We've got cucumbers in the ground already, elephant garlic in the front flowerbed from last year, corn to plant, broccoli, gourds, and something else... I don't remember! I want some yellow squash but can't find seeds, probably too early. We're going to get some other things also, but don't know what yet.

I planted a head of garlic that I bought in the gro. store last year. I'm waiting to see if it'll come back up this year!

Well Ladies,
I do believe my online dating is over!!! I have found the man I have been searching for since my hubby died. I am not one to believe in love at first sight, but when I saw Doug my heart tripped over it self. Then when we hugged I could not let go of him, lol. And then when he kissed me, he could not stop!!!! He is alot shorter than I like my men but we are a good fit. I really need to get busy and lose some more weight, lol. Last night he told me that he first saw my pix on OKCupid and he sent me many messages and I never responded. Well I have not been to that sight in months. He said he had been searching for me all over the interenet since the first part of Jan. He said he was about to give up when he saw me on Plenty of Fish, and sent me an email and that when I responded he did a happy dance, lol. So yesterday I got to his house, we talked for a long time, then took of the motorcycle, stopped and had a cocktail, picked up a pizza, went back to his house, ate, put on some music and then we slow danced for a while. He could not stop kissing me. He is the most sweetest loving man. His eyes change colors, lol. They go from a smokey grey to green. Green is when he is letting his love flow, lol. He told me this morning that I have his heart and that he is very happy. Now here are some funny things.

Doug told me that his lucky day is May 27th. I said why he said every year good things happen to him on that day. When he was younger (before he married) he told his mom that he wanted to get married on May 27th.

My birthday is May 27th, and when I told him that he said his heart just started pounding and then he said "Are you my long lost love"? I said " I don't know, but somebody upstairs meant for us to be together"

He has been married twice and so have I. I think we are each others "3rd time is a charm" mate.

Aw, Cindy, I am so glad you found someone, and I do hope it works out, but you know you need to get to know him better, before making that commitment! He looks like a keeper!

Yes, I do LK. He told me here was here for long term and had asked me what I was looking for before we even decided to meet. I told him I am not looking for live in relationship or married at least not for 3 or 4 years. I have a lot of things I need to take care of before I settle down for good. I want to start a new life with out all my problems and he is cool with that.

YAAAAAYYYYYYY Cindy I'm so happy for you!!!!! I really really hope this works out. I'm jumping for joy for you!!!

Jaye, sorry about Kel's uncle. He's in a better place, now, with NO pain!

Doug's mom and dad divorced years ago. She did remarry when Doug was 30 but yes I do think she is a widow. I told him that I have been telling you guys about us, and he said it makes him happy that I am telling people about us. He is out of work because of the weather and he hates it. He stays home all day long. So he turns on the web came so I can see him and I turn mine on so he can watch me while I make my crafts and stuff. i was talking about my flowers and he said that he wants to help me with my flower gardens. I showed him some pix of my flowers from last year. He liked alot of them and is looking forward to seeing them this spring.

Barb, what block pattern did you use for the afghan? I think I would like to do one for our den.

Barb, you are a woman of many talents! The afghan is lovely. My Mom used to make afghans like that but I never learned to crochet. I tried knitting but just could get into it. It took me too long to make anything. I like easy, quick things or I get bored.

Like...when I signed up for the 3 month pick your own block swap I thought, "Oh I can do that in three months and move, too". Later, much later, I realized it meant 12 blocks, each of a different color combination. Well, I wont be bored! LOL

Maid M it is a plain old Granny Square!!! I think what makes it look so great is the pattern layout. I found it very easy to do...

LOL Barb, I have a thousand and one just plain old Granny Squares and they don't look like what you posted. Hummm, maybe I have to many. Think so?

Lay them out on a bedspread and play with them When you find something pleasing to you, take a picture!!! Your heart will settle on one......
