Hi Karen Its 3.?
Countdown to spring! One Photo per Day Part 11
No it is 'Summertime Blues' JoAnn. It is very similar I think, not quite as purple.
Karen that is a beauty, nice bright in your face color. I love that.
Its a campanula tho?
Thanks karen, love your Ed Marshall, that's one thing I really want to do this year is get some more lilies, they sure brighten up things!
Karen, I don't know the name of the peach dahlias, (wish I did). I was able to get the proprietor of a large greenhouse which I frequent here to sell me a dozen of them while they were still in those small little greenhouse training pots, ( before he put them up for sale to the gen public), so I took them w/o asking too many questions, (he's a busy guy lol!). That way he'd look favorably next time and maybe I could ask him for another exclusive next time I needed one! hee hee!
(Same peachy ones, taken w/cokin light diffusion filter to give it a dreamy look)
- I haven't posted any for awhile so I hope Victor will extend me a credit on my 1/ day limit! (lol!!)
Oh yes a campanula, it is not supposed to spread like some of the others do. So far so good.
Great I'm there
Thanks Pat and WC.
WC, that peachy dahlia sure is a pretty one. Here is the 'Peaches And Cream' dahlia: http://www.learn2grow.com/plants/dahlia-peaches-and-cream-images-large-96800/
JoAnn, I'm thinking we probably both have the same version of Firefox. I've never had a problem.
Karen
It may be there are too many users at that time of day.
We seem to have trouble at some times of the day no matter what browser I use. We never had a computer until I was over seventy so I assumed it might be my clash with technology. So I got Opera and Google Chrome on the darn thing and none of them will work at some times of the day. I told Herself maybe all the kids get home from school and get on their computers, I really haven't a clue but you should hear her language when she gets frustrated with the computer. Whew!!!--------------------------------------Weedy
Tomorrow is March! But it certainly does not feel like it's only days, or even weeks, away from spring cleanup and planting.
I'm sure you'll get more DL's, Jen. Like potato chips, you can't have just one. Nice Asiatics. I like the orientals a lot, more than the Asiatics, though both are nice.
Karen
I planted orientals last fall, so we'll see how they come out this year, I can't wait.
Oh, you'll be really happy with them. Most are very fragrant.
Karen
Very nice dl, dahlia and lilies!
Yes, nice to see so much color on another white day.
I agree, orientals are beautiful......too many in a room is not though! LOL
I have both and like the Asiatics for tight spaces and hot color.
So nice Allison. What is the yellow one?
my guess would be Calibrachoa 'Superbells Tequila Sunrise' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/130537/
Calibricoas Yes now I remember.
I tried growing them from cuttings last year.. no luck.. but supposed to be good plants for that
Dont I wish!!.There is hope out there.
One week of clouds and snow then Next week temps in the 40's and rain will melt this stuff.
very nice
Everything is so light and pretty this morning.
Love those lilies Jen. I am so looking forward to them all again even if it means the battle with the RLL beetles.
Nice pots onewish and JoAnn. It won't be too long now I hope. We have banished Feb. for another year (YEAH!) so we are on the last leg of the trek to spring.
Love those delphs, they really are the royalty of the garden and yours are lovely pixie.
Nice shot of skipper on BB Victor. The big eyes they have give them a personality all their own.
Bill nice cheerful heliopsis. At least I think that is what it is. They are good long blooming tough plants.
Here is mine for today, a shot of 'Pinky Winky' paniculata hydrangea before it starts the pinky part.
Ellen's Blue is lovely and so is skipper!
Bill you got Delphs to germiate?? Congrats...they have not alwyas been easy for me! Nice yellow by the way...cheery!
Pat I love the purple and pinks tones surrounding Pinky!
thx celeste - a bunch of foxglove, and some gold rush daisy, hope they are true to the parent - now if the eggplant would start.......
Liatris?
beat me to it!
Nice shot of Pinky, Pat. Hopefully mine will be big enough this year to be noticeable. Nice group shot, Patti.
Looks like liatris or stachys hummelo. Can't see the foliage well enough. What ever it is it is very pretty.
Ohhh patti your collage is wonderful
