I actually know the full name of this one
Pelargonium x domesticum 'Imperial'
Countdown to spring! One Photo per Day Part 11

Yes,,,a wow color....Pat, C. Woodbury is also a fav of mine....and fragrant! Pixie, congrats again!
that one smells like black pepper if you touch it
love those!!!
Thanks, Allison. Nice, Bill.
thx - yours is nice too
On a day like today it's important to say - 22 more days!!
where you are:)
Love the white trim on the pelagonium, makes the rich velvety color even better.
Pretty colors on that rose too, very nice.
I do love those monardas. Such a nice dependable plant that the hummers and butterflies love as much as me.
Twenty two days sounds very nice. Only three weeks from tomorrow. I will take it. Now if the weather will just get with the program....spring. Yeah!
And two weeks to DST.
Lily Fata Morgana
fancy name too!!
You all were up early this am. Nice wildflowers Jen. I like the reseeders too, you never know where they might show up and add a punch of color and some how they always seem to pick a good spot.
JoAnn those are very pretty lilies with a very interesting name. They look nice with the coneflowers.
Pretty gaillardia onewish. Is that one on the upper left O&L? I like that one because they stand up tall and don't flop as much as some others do. I hope they return this year.
Here is a shot with the O&Ls sticking out their heads from behind the daisies and there is verbena bonariensis that reseeded itself there as well.
yes O&L... mine have been hit & miss... 2 out of 5 came back last year
Wicked nice wildflower garden Jen.
Ge I just planted fata Morgan last year and was pleased with it, can't wait to see it this year. I agree, it looks nice w/the coneflowers.
Allison I love the gaillardia, after seeing all yours, I think I need more!
Thats a lovely shot Pat!!
Since we have oranges and lemons this morning i think I'll throw out a banana. ^_^
"Banana Republic'
nice rounded breakfast!!!
Yes, and not fattening!
pretty one!!
Well after all you need at least five fruit servings a day they say. That is a beauty Pixie and those sunny colors do warm me up.
Thanks pixie, that is the bed getting the extension that has already been extended. ^_^
That is a really pretty one phoebes, good thing gorgeous blooms aren't fattening.
Pretty orchids, trying to 'thin out' my wallet Phoebe??
I was actually lurking over in the O. forum....drooling on the color saturation of this one.

Its still snowing
Pretty Bill!
Great pics, everyone!
Phoebe, you've gone over your one pic for the day. LOL!^_^I do love orchids, though. I just purchased some for 99 cents each on eBay, but I won't see them bloom for several years (about 2-3 or 4), as they're young ones. Price was right, though, but the shipping came to $14 for 3 plants. They're in pots, though, so I guess it would cost more to ship that way.
Here's my collage for the day. Hardy geraniums. The blue one is 'Jolly Bee'. The others I don't know.
Karen
Nice ---my Silver Moon is much pinkier.
