I don't have 'Silver Moon'. I have 'Splish Splash' and 'Johnson's Blue'. Also another one with purple flowers. Can't think of the name of it offhand. I would like more.

Congrats Victor!

Stunning. Patti
Victor, do you have the ckem 'John Paull II' also known as 'Jan Pauwel II' this is what it has to say about it.
"A hardy, long-flowering Polish cultivar with a moderate growth rate. Large, cream flowers with a pale pink bar, particularly distinctive during autumn bloom.
Suitable for fences, walls, arbors, pergolas, trellises and wooden supports. It can clamber over natural supports e.g. small trees or large, deciduous or coniferous shrubs. Particularly useful for cultivation behind compact shrubs, covering 100 cm of the clematis base."
And this.....
"From the Polish Clematis breeder Brother Stefan Francsak, a monk who has produced several outstanding new hybrids. The 4-6" (10-15cm) creamy white blooms with pink trails and reddish stamens are produced in June, July and August"
Congrats on your BOTD photo, Victor!
Karen
Thanks!
No, don't have that one - yet.
Nice DL's, Jen!

Nowhere close to your collection...
I have had trouble with my browser loading if I sign on around mid afternoon. It just wont load. I have Firefox browser. Finally uninstalled it and reinstalled it(with kids help) and it was fine but the next day same time ,same problem.I installed Internet Explorer but its a pain to transfer all my bookmarks.
oohh I like that one!!!
Me too. I really want to plant some giant hostas in that area and its the deer path so I will be spraying anyway.
I thought to discourage them with Gold Heart.
yeah I always try that with the alliums and frits
We dont have as many deer as some DGers but one is enough if you have waited 2 seasons to see thenew fav colors, DL's bloom and watched the buds and when they are about to open ,next morning they are gone.
nasty
I learned after the first year we lived here.. the old owner had lilies .. they snapped all the heads off ... I spray spray spray now
I believe the deer know those buds are loaded with carbs and they just go for them like candy.
LOL about the carbs! I like that Woodswalk combo!!
nice Celeste.. pretty dark one
As I'm house bound recovering from sinus surgery and only have white to look at out our windows, yall just don't know how much your beautiful pictures have done for my spirit. I don't do well confined and just being able to come here where the walls start to close in and just image myself walking through each of your gardens has such a calming effect over me.
thanks everyone for sharing your gardening joys.
onewish
what do you spray with that is keeping the deer at bay from your flowers? Since I've put in a garden the deer have changed their walking path to my flower beds and I want at least a few days of blooms....LOL
Janet
I hit them hard once I see buds with liquid fence
I got some of that last year and never ended up using it as the weather would have washed it away within the a day of using it.... and it was towards the end of the growing season. Thanks now I will be using this come the first of this growing season.
Janet
I cant think of a gardener I know who can stand confinement
Heads up you lucky New Yorkers!

All I can say about that video at NYBG is wow, wow and wow! Absolutely gorgeous.
I love those time lapse vids too. Very nice.
Congrats to Victor on BOTD! Great shot.
You all have been busy as usual keeping us going through all these nasty grey days with wonderful pics of flowers and gardens.
Love all the collages with geraniums, shade plants and DLs. Everything looks good to me. Pixie's Mr Murray DL is not too shabby either. Love them all. Lots of bright bold colors so what's not to like there.
My contribution for the day is campanula 'Summertime Blues' with digi grandiflora in the background.
Must be a full Orchid moon...here's one for those in PA--and they have Clivia!

Take lots of pics Victor! You are my eyes! ^_^
Well, will head for the garden club today and the garden show next week although it sure looks like winter out my window. Decisions, decisions. Catherine Woodbery and Ed Murray above and I have an offspring of each and I don't know which to post-----plus huge number of seed pods from Catherine thatwill be planted outside this Spring. Oh well Pardon Me X Ed Murray first , tommorrow the other-------------------Weedy
Victor thats a beautiful Corallinum.I planted one last spring and cant wait to see the early leaves.
It's really an incredible color when it first emerges, Jo.
I am hopeing. It was described to me as shrimp but your color is fantastic.
nice pictures all - and like the jm victor - hoping i get to see some of that here this spring!
That looks like Campanula Sorastro Is it?
Are those all the DL's you have, Jen? I'm sure you must have more. I would never be able to fit all of mine on one collage. The pictures would be extremely tiny.
JoAnn, I have Firefox too, and have had no problems with it. I don't know what version mine is. What is the number on the latest version? I think mine is 3.4 or 4.3 or something like that. I don't know if it's the latest. I'm guessing it is, cause it seems to update itself off and on. Nice woodswalk combo you have there.
Allison, love the coleus collage.
Yep, I spray, spray, spray that Liquid Fence for the deer, too, after that bad year 2 years ago, when they ate all the buds off my hundreds of my DL's at the end of July, and also feasted on many hostas and other plants. That was just too devastating.
Celeste, I don't know if that DL is Ed Murray, though it does look a lot like it, the shape and rufflinesss of it. Yours looks very dark purple, and Ed Murray is very deep, velvety red. Maybe your pic just looks that way cause it wasn't in the sun when you took the pic? I thought I had that one, but mine is Ed Marshall, a gorgeous red. I'll post a pic of it now. Yours is very pretty, anyhow. I love the dark ones. Heck, I love 'em all!
Phoebe, I definitely want to go to that Orchid Show. I'm going to have to take a day and do it this month of March. By hook or by crook, I'll get there. Gotta get out and see some color. I'd love to see the one at Longwood, too. I love that place. Only problem with that is it's such a long drive. I'd have to stay overnight somewhere.
Great JM foliage, Victor.
Your red DL is a nice one, Weedy.
WC, those are luscious looking dahlias. I have not grown any yet, but I saw one I really liked called 'Peaches And Cream', and I might go for it this year. Which one is your peachy colored one? I really like it. Might get that one, too.
Karen
Ed Marshal
We cross posted, Pat. I like your campanula. Nice.
