I got gutsy today, the temp was 70 and my plants loved it and I said ya know what, there is only one thunderstorm day this week, which is Sunday and the temps look great so tomorrow..........., they are spending the night on the deck tonight. LOL I figure this way, my staking system will be up Sunday, and if necessary, I got blankets I can throw over the staking system.

BELLS AND EGGPLANT QUESTIONS 101
Fantastic, Linda!
Guess you'll be planting soon! Congrats and well done.
Gymgirl: If it was a tomato you could trim it off; but not sure about peppers.

It's hard to tell... are you watering them too much?? Peppers can tolerate some drought & curling of the leaves may occur if you are watering too much. You will have to wait & see what happens before cutting it off or you may kill it if it is nothing major. If it turns yellow you can cut it off.
Kill the whole plant or just that leaf? I hope it's just the leaf that'll die if I clip it!
Was going to plant some bell pepper plants this evening (last minute), but discovered that fire ants had moved into part of my bed! Grrrrr!!! So, I dowsed the area with "mound drench" so hopefully they will buzz-off (to the neighbor's yard.) I might be good to go tomorrow.
Gymgirl... just the leaf... IF nature doesn't do it first that is.
JohnCrichton75, have you heard of Safer Brand for fire ants? I find it's GREAT for getting rid of them plus it's environmentally safe too. It's made by Bayer( I think).
Our area is ALWAYS over run with fire ants & I too noticed them IN my garden last year.. so I guess I will be putting some down as soon as the wind goes away!!
