We came from above link.
This has been a hard winter not only for us, but our feathered friends must have felt the impact of Ole' man winter. We rarely see snow here in our birding range, but as of this morning, snow has been steadily pouring down. Even my birds in the back yard didn't know what to make of this fluffy white stuffs....they must have thought "this stuffs must have came from up NORTH!!!".
The Tufted Titmouse (from first post) didn't know what to make of it. But it knew to start feeding before the human forgets to put out birdseeds or suet again.
Here is a new additon onto my list. A Yellow Crowned Warbler (as has been positively ID'ed by Resin -- thanks Resin).
Also a heartfelt hug sent to Duc our dear friend whose beloved pet Chip died yesterday. I'm thinking of you and family Duc.

Really red cap!!!!!!!!
Ooooh I meant to say...I love your instead of you AS it was written above. lol. Sounds like a Fruedian's slip. But that okay too.
Duc, so glad to see you posting. What do I need to put out to attract Peliate WP? It's on my much wanted list. :-)
Lily_love - Thanks for starting the new thread and congratulations on the new bird too. I got me one, too, but I'm still editing my photos. I certainly share it later.
pelletory - great snaps of the Wren and Jay.
ducbucln - hope you're fairing well. And that is a splendid shot of Nuttall's Woodpecker - with me being in Ga, this is the only way I'm gonna see one.
JulieQ - so, you're getting snow on too. Nice framing of the Goldfinch in the snow , BTW.

I've got a bit more to do to my photos before I post any, but with the snow outside, what else can a one-legged redneck do. Here's a pic from just an moment ago,
Hack

Well, I'm back with some pics. Some singles and some Collages. I won't all of them, save some for later.
First, my Lifer - this is the first time I've ever seen, let alone photographed, a Cedar Waxwing. I happened to glance outside yesterday and saw it in my holly bushes, eating berries. I recognized it from all the ones I've seen on here. Plus, the distinct yellow tail feather tips.

Towhes are not longer in our area. Too built up? But when we moved here over 30 yrs ago their constant call could be heard.
Very nice pics everyone! Love the Ospreys JH and I look forward to their return. Julie, I had 0 Goldfinch here.
My Bird counting came to an abrupt end just before 4 today when a Coopers Hawk came barreling through the yard. He picked just the right time as there were close to
30 European Starlings in the yard along with many other birds.. Of course he got a Starling and stayed for the next hour busy with that.
Good many variety there Hack. I love the Pine Warbler. JH the Osprey pics. were so crisp! Nice job. Pelle, sorry about the starling. I can see the squirrel says "Better the bird than me!".
Wow, great series Pelletory! Nature in action is amazing.
Pelletory's picture not enlarging. Starling flocks annoy me.
Hi Iris, I notice the pics are sometimes stalling before enlarging. I'm not having a problem right now though.
The entire thing narrows down & when I tried to work with it got the little x in the corner. I tried enlarging as my glasses are downstairs. sigh!
Nice one nanny!
Thanks for the new thread Lily, That Ole man winter, can really bring some unusual surprises sometimes.
Nice work Pelle, That storm was quite something, down you way.
Duc, sorry about the lost, of an important part of your family. Chipper was a handsome dog. he couldn't have found a better home, then with someone like you, who loved him so. Love your WP pic.
Jh great photography. Very sharp.
Hack, wonderful shot of the waxwing, they are beautiful. Those birds are going to keep you busy during your retirement. It's a great passtime.
A Blue Jay hard at work.
