If the network continues to sensationalize that poor fellow losing his luge, I just may watch Mayberry RFD reruns. The coverage is beginning to sound as one sided as Cosell at his "worst".I enjoy young people competing and the thrill of the coverage, but sometimes the commentary is just too much. If the news of the Olympic Games was not such an exclusive, I wonder if we could enjoy the efforts of these fine athletes without bias. The people who write and produce this crap should be invited to the theater that premiered "Nation's Pride"!!! Ric

women moguls skiing last night was great - and even nicer a NE'r from the green mtn. state won!

Yes, that was exciting. My knees kill me just watching that.

Speed skating at 1 p.m. Prefer the action to hype although it was good to understand what judges were looking for at the moguls.

mogul skiing- My teeth!

Loved the mogul skiing, & my husband, raised in Woodstock, VT, actually was awake to see Hannah win gold. The cross country skiing was amazing----a silver medal!

Another gold! Snowboard cross.

Hate to see the falls in figure skating. Feel so bad for them - especially when it's early in the program. The scoring last night was horrendous.

The other Chinese pair should have won the figure skating.

The comment was that the short program won it for them. I certainly liked the music of the 2nd pair better than that of the winner. anyway, glory for the coach.

really like the olympics this year and the US is looking good early - glad to see bodie grab a bronze and the gold from westbrook - lost the battle of the remote last night and watched the bachelor - how/why do people put themselves through this crap.

I was remoting between Westminster, both Huskies' games, & the Olympics! Better night tonight---I'll stay with Westminster.

Wha - same thing happened to me. I haven't watched The Bachelor all season so last night was my introduction to the three ladies that guy had to choose from . . . all I can say is that I think he made the wrong decision last night.

Now, where do I go to surrender my man card?

g-sox i have had to put up with for most of this season - have not watched it in years and now my wife has renewed interest - thank goodness 24 comes on so i can bail on the second half - and i agree Gia was hot and seemed really nice - this girl vienna has to go, spoiled little brat - wife claims she married a local kid who was in the military, spent all his money while he was in iraq, got a boob job, fooled around on him, and divorced him. ---- i know, it is embarrassing i know so much about the tv trash:)

DD tipped me off that curling was on USA. So I turned it on. Equipment has improved. They were using straw brooms when I was growing up.Commentary has very instructive--reminded my of lawn bowling on ice or perhaps croquet. US lost to Germany, but at least early rounds are round robin.

My DH didn't like the curling---not even action, but I thought it was fun----sort of like bacce on ice.

US Women are on now vs. Japan. I am a huge fan. Patti

Every time I see Vienna, she makes me gag. Blech!!! He should have let Allie come back but I can understand when he said "well the other 3 stayed" and she did pick her career over him. I wouldn't have picked Gia her mother was a little strange, and why was that the only family that met him at a restaurant instead of at their house...that was very strange. I love Tenley but her voice can really grate on your nerves.

I've never watched the bachelor.

I didn't see the part with Gia's mother . . . that might have changed my mind since I have always heard it said that most women become just like their mothers eventually.

Enjoyed the curling & commentary was the best explanation of object & the strategy which I have heard.

Was it on the regular channel??? We couldn't find it.

It was USA channel I wouldn't have known except Jumper 2 told me while I was on the phone with her.
