Qwilter, Yeah, that's pretty much about what it looks like here. You've got a really nice view out of that window. Here's the icecicle hanging outside my dining room. It has now met and frozen to the snow.

Just checked the local news. It says we'll just have a wintry mix tomorrow evening but may see 4 to 6 inches of snow by Tuesday noon. That almost seems like a non event.

Quilter, I think you maybe at the wrong house this season. Of course there was snow in Fl. just a couple of days ago. LOL

So glad we had the sun yesterday and this AM. Will be watching the radar today.
A slushy inch or two by next morning called for here (central MD)

Ours here is just about over - I'd call it a dusting, and that's being generous! It was coming down at a pretty good clip for about an hour, but really hasn't amounted to much.

Hope everyone else gets off as lightly!

Love the pictures you're posting of Stormageddon.
We're still buried under here.
But see my brave little Cornus Kousa!

I've been working so hard, I'm oblivious to the weather.

Mutti, Your house looks really buried.

cambridge md, MD(Zone 7a)

This weather is getting old I am ready for any signs of Spring , yesterday we had a snow dusting , we are supposed to get another one today , I can go without any more dusting other than the one on the furniture LOL. This morning the snow is covered of raccoon footprint by my sliding door , The oppossum was here the day before , They are having it rought too with all the snow... Now time to feed the birds...

Grossmutti--what a nice house and deck--can you take consolation that your roof seems well insulated, judging by the thick snow?
All the roofs here are edged now with thick gutterfuls of ice. Why does the drip always happen over the door and make an ice patch where you walk?? Actually, the lost heat from the doorway might have something to do with it.

Grossmutti,That is a lovely pic looks like a Swiss Chalet. I was thinking the same thing about the well insulated roof.
I am starting to see glimpses of the damage my juniper hedge has suffered. It doesn't look good I am consoling myself with the knowledge that it will grow again.

I have a very old rosemary that was going to need major pruning and I thought it would end up neat, sort of mini tree like, bonsai ish. Now, it's half leaning and still half buried. It may not be worth the worry--I have another very nice younger healthier looking one.

Hart said that she was completely house bound because the Park didn't plow the entrance.

So nice to have the bright sun out melting away the snow and ice. I has a long way to go, but every drip counts.

YUCK YUCK YUCK, Just got done digging the car out again!! It's feezing and blowing like crazy out there, even though the sun is shining very brightly. I left the walk for later. Maybe it will blow away or melt some.

Snowing litely now. You can tell everyone in the neighborhood is getting home from work, the sound of snowblowers is everywhere. There was a auto message from the boro that snow removal will take place between 2 am and 6 am so if your car is in the street it will be ticketed.

Hurry up Spring !!!!
