Some real beauties I see again. Can't wait to see my VV this year Victor, that pic is really nice. Hope the slugs have been taken care of near the clems with all the smushing I did last year.
Candyce I love those nice deep colored DLs and yours is no exception. Pretty.
Deb tulips are just pure spring and that group is really pretty, nice lighting too.
JoAnn's salmon colored snapper would look lovely with the gorgeous lupin from onewish. Love those two colors together.
Here is a new plant from last year I hope will return this spring. Polemonium 'Stairway to Heaven'.

Another pretty DL pixie. Nice contrast in color tone with the dark eye. I have to say I am really getting spring fever now. Good thing we can share all these blooms and memories to keep us going until we can see the real things again.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Wow, some stunning shots, especially those tulips, debilu
ngam, Love the look of Stairways to Heaven. I will have to look for that one.

Here is one that I think I lost last year. I will replant it this spring if the Garden in the Woods has it at their farm.

Quoting:
from NASAMI FARM 2008 PLANTED
Initial Comments:
9.00 Description: Pretty prairie native that grows in a slowly spreading clump with soft, fernlike, deeply divided leaves. Dusky pink nodding flowers appear on stalks to about 16 inches tall April/ May. Flowers are followed by equally, if not more showy, fluffy seed heads for which the plant has been given its several colorful common names. Requires well-drained soils in sun or partial shade.

Thanks, Jo. I like the combo. The foliage of Summer Wine and Coppertina is fantastic. Lots of subtle tones in it.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

good morning!... I hope that one spreads

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Me too.
My cousin sent me some seeds to sow with my GC plants, they are the blue ones from Maine. They are wild there so I might not get any germination but what the heck.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

here's todays pic

Ge, you should get some germination. The lupines here on the side of the road are not tended to, they bloom turn to seed, drop and grow again.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

nice mix JoAnn.. I left all the seed pods on both of mine this year.. nice part is the leaves are easy to pick out when they are babies.. won't pull those as weeds.. for some reason the snapdragons and strawflowers are easy to spot as well

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Pixi I need a plant that can take abuse.
Allison thanks, that combo is along the deck walk.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I have been trying for years to grow lupines. Tried a new spot last summer, fingers crossed. I so adore them. I know they can grow on Nantucket.

Victor, Bad hair day indeed for them. I planted them in too moist a spot.

Ge1836 that is a great combo. Astilbe are always a favorite.

By the way WHO DAT? I am thrilled. I went to a Saints game last year in NOLA, but I can't find a black and gold plant to post. So here is a what may be the original fleurs-de-lis flowers which I have been trying to indicant from our garden, Iris pseudacorus even though it is pretty. Patti

I am going to say it again.. I need some HG... very pretty Bill

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

You got that right Ge1836. Pretty, but aggressive even in dry soil. I have been digging out wheel barrels of it. Yes, Plural. I will get most of the rest of it out this year, I hope. I started with one little clump which was fine for years, but then I moved a bit of it around to fill in a few holes and that was the cause of the explosion.

I love all my hardy Geraniums. The blues are hard to keep straight, but all pretty. Patti

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Guess thats one to avoid.I'll find yellow in another plant.
