Oh my what a nice shot of the HH and hydrangea. Peaches and cream effect. I could go for seeing a few of those soon too.
Pretty clem sure looks like Nelly.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Patti nice combo!!!.. love that one too Jen!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes - very nice! I generally do not like hollyhocks, but that is a great shade. Do they flop?

JM Orangeola. This is new growth - in August!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

No flopping ever and they have been in that bed for years and years and always return each season, but have not spread. They are a single Alcea ficifolia that rarely gets any rust. I saved seeds and must start some more to share. I killed my seedlings last year, sadly. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice. How tall?

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Nice bright foliage Victor, very nice for Aug.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Pat. It does that all season. It's really a very nice tree.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Very. Do I dare say 10 to 12 feet. I will measure it this year. Patti

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

and they stand on there own?

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Not a stake or a friend to lean on, honest. Plus we do get some wind on occasion on Nantucket. Patti

Wow - any seeds?!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I will make sure I still have some. I haven't gotten into my seed box yet this year. Soon. I will let you know. Patti

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

They look like fig leaf HH. They are also less susceptible to rust.

Thomaston, CT

Striking combo! My HH went to rust last summer, but with so much rain, so did I! The JM is very pretty, Victor---hope I like Purple Ghost.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Ngam, yep, single Alcea ficifolia. Patti

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Ya me too. So wet last year we had fungus of all kinds. Never seen it so nasty.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cool - I like fig leaves. Of course I require a bigger one...

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Love that combo Patti
Ugh, Victor

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

robin purple ghost is supposed to be one of the best of the ghost series of jm trees, amber is the other one. i have them both coming this spring so i hope they live up to their press

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Victor!!! Honestly, leaving you alone for a few days only encourages your naughty behavior!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You're checking in on me, Pirl?!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Somebody's got to keep you in line!*********the big fig, lol

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Patti I wouldn't mind a few of those seeds in the fall if you remember

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Yes, Victor. When you least expect it...like Candid Camera (so wear your XXXL fig leaf at all times).

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Uh oh. Actually, with my luck it would be a PI leaf. Ouch!
