Lk I would guess a tip of a scraper.. Most arrow tips were sleder and that on elooks like it may have gotten pretty wide .. I love finding arrowheads... O thank you for reminding me of another thing great about being home.. I know just where to go look!

I guess I will have to build my own ark, yours are too far away for me. Two days of rain, people in mud slide areas are really having a bad time. It was supposed to rain all weekend, but it stopped early this morning and sun is trying to come out. The snow pictures are beautiful, but just to look at I know. Hope all stay warm and safe. Oh my gosh, the sun finally made it out, but not for long.

My DH is a stubborn man, thinks the meds. should take care of the problem without him having to give up the bad foods. Had a terrible time getting him to stop putting salt on eveything without even tasting it. He sprinkles a lot of spices on his food, but salt free so I quit nagging. BTW speaking of salt, what is the difference between salt and sea salt? I would think salt is salt. I do find myself putting items back on the shelf because of the high sodium content.

Wow now that is snow.... I hope Rick gets home ok..... It just stopped snowing here but did not stick this time so I was happy... Having problems with my computer battery I believe... So will check back tomorrow if it is still charged....

We're back and SO thankful didn't have to fight any bad weather.
If it's any consolation to my sistahs in snow hazards states, we're supposed to have some form of 'flurries' and back to the lows...

Sea Salt

Sea salt is the unrefined salt that is obtained by simply evaporating the water from the seas or oceans. Sea water is channeled into man-made pools along protected shores, and is then left under the Sun till all the water gets evaporated. What is left behind in the pools is sea salt. Sea salt is 98% sodium chloride, while the remaining 2% is made of other important minerals like iron, sulfur, magnesium and other trace elements. Due to higher mineral content, sea salts are more flavored than table salt. Sea salts are used as crust for baked potatoes. Chefs also use it in French or Thai cuisines.

Table Salt

The common table salt is 99.9% sodium chloride. It is obtained from the terrestrial salt deposits which are mined, heat-blasted and chemically treated. Due to these processes, table salt is stripped of all minerals other than sodium and chloride. Some anti-caking agents are added to table salt to make it free flowing. Although, initially table salt which had just sodium and chlorine as the only minerals was consumed by people, later on, salt manufacturers started adding iodine to it to prevent people from suffering from iodine deficiency diseases.

I have used sea salt for over yr. now i'm still not good with the computer this one is dying on me i wanted to put cd about birds in watch the door will not open come out the green light has been on it for month or more now. so..

Been away for a while, but hopefully, things will calm down here a bit, and I should be able to visit some more. I got rid of one of my biggest stresses yesterday. Whew, what a relief that is.

That one pillow case took me a year and I have the other one to go, it's identical. The stitching is very easy to do, it's just back and forth, no trickery. The hard part is seeing it.

Been spending most of my time lately putting out fires, cleaning up messes, and basically trying to stay on top of things. Life isn't suppose to be that hard... so I lightened my load yesterday... whew.

Don watches super bowl on the big screen, so dinner will be served there. I only watch the game to see the commercials... so, I'm blessed with doing the serving today.
