I had nightmares!! I was attacked by these overpadded flopper stoppers in all sizes 'cause I refused to lease a part of our property to them!!!

Maybe that's why today I slept most of the day :(

The scare's still not over for now, to be safe... I will quarantine these sistahs, temporarily till I'm back to normal.

Now.. LK, Cindy, Susan, Judy, Crissy, Audrey, Julie and you too Trisha..
you are all forgiven for laughing. It's not your fault your judgements' affected. Osmosis there.. look who's the ring leader of that 'fenced' group!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Meat loaf mold???? Snow ball mold????? Jello???

Oh geez.... any other mold? Not Jello??? Too wiggly :D

On a serious note, it's been raining too over here. Think the ark should make it's way here soon.
My blood count has been very erratic today, so it affects my psyche.. NO THANKS to my sistahs with their mischief! Truly had that nightmare!
Hey there Susan Chi. So happy you're back with us. This place is for ALL moods........ happy... sad. Like Kel says, we can't be all happy all the time, tho' we try. We take the good and the bad.. that's what sistahs are for.
Audrey, I got Lisa up there.
Pegi, at least you're raising your blood count naturally too. FIL refused to do so, and he needs shots almost every week.
Sistah Judy, we came home late last night.. the truck stalled in the restaurant's parking lot.
BBL... hungry..

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

just checking in so i don't get lost

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Am I allowed the use of my computer while in quarantine? I be good--well maybe!! I am so sorry about the nightmares--didn't mean to do that.

Hummm, we could use them to make ice blocks for an igloo--funny shaped but who cares?

Jaye, seriously do take care of yourself and I will behave myself. Now Jax and Kathy don't entice me into trouble again.

Raleigh, NC

waving hello to my sisters - think it's time I started building an arc.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Goodthought Bon. I have just about filled mine--waiting on the zebra to get in now.........

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Well I live in a hollow as we call it at the bottom of the road... Our yard is so wet that if we get high winds we will have trees go down as there roots have nothing to hold on to... We have a few tipping from the weight of the snow and ice on them and one good wind will send them fully down...
Sorry you to ladies have had health problems... glad your blood is going UP.... Good girl...Keep eating right...
Hugs,
susan

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I'm waiting for those silly Unicorns, just like the Irish Rovers sang about............

Dellroy, OH(Zone 6b)

Hoping everyone is staying safe and warm tonight. The electric flickered here a time or two but still on. I hope you all keep your power too.
Praying the rain stops for those of you loading arks. High water on the roads can be just as dangerous as our snow...

Please everyone keep safe and stay inside tonight. Praying for safety for all of you.

WE WILL NOT HAVE:
any loss of power
any one stranded any more
any waters creeping into the house
any winds to knock over trees
any slipping and sliding on snowy roads
any more meat loaf balls made in fancy cotton (sorry, just had to add it)

(((hugs to all)))

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

The roads are soooooooo Bad here..........people are spinning just to leave the stop signs. And we live along a main highway......LOL.

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

But the snow is sticking to the trees and they are so pretty.

(Trisha) Olympia, WA(Zone 8a)

Whoohooo Jax is collecting snow for Ice Cream....Oh Boy! Baileys Ice Cream!!!!

Sis wanted to go to our favorite Asian place tonight.....Genera Tao's Chicken #3.... it was yummmmmy!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

My house is on high ground but do worry about the rivers flooding the highway--we would be marooned if that happens. Been there, done that when I was a young child living in South Florida after a hurricane. I read today that the weather service is predicting a cooler, wetter summer also. Global warming?

Ah Susan, the unicorns were the first to come!! Yeap those Rovers helped get them in.....................

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

It quit raining!! Thanks Julie!! But the grounds are soaked and my outside furbabies had to use stilts to move around!!!!!

Now Maid M.. you got to keep the floors of your ark clean. (Psst.. do you have Puff, the magic dragon in there?)
And of course you could use your lap top while you're quarantined. We know who's addicted to FB and the 'pirate'!

Synda, are you feeling better? You must not be.. no pictures to accompany your postings :( Take care gal.. keep a diary of what you eat.. may help diagnose your swellings.

Trisha, Kel's fav. Chinese food is General Tso's Chicken. Haven't seen a General Tao here. How is it prepared?

Susan Chi, are you still working at the Vets'. Been so long since you talk of your work.

Susan, Susan, Susan... thanks for cheering me up. Love you mucho sistah!!

Thank you all for the great birthday party for Sis Kathy yesterday! We should do this more often... but pick SOMEONE else :P

Hehehehehehe.... love y'all!!
Good night ladies!

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

OH my ,can't sleep.........I'm so worried about Rick driving to work in a couple hours. The snow is so deep even on the main highway. The power trucks are out so lines are down. And it just keeps coming down,if it was rain it would be a total down pour !!!!!!! I'm sure we hav at least a foot now.

Lancaster, OH(Zone 6a)

Drying out here, wind behinds us, on my way to get you. One empty space left in ark!!

Lancaster, OH(Zone 6a)

Synda Glad Rick was able to stay home.. Max is probably not going in tonight either..

Kim ~ LMAO I love it a dream about boulder holders! I really love the snowman with the ready ice cold wine bottles..

Kathy hoping the rain lets up soon for you..

Marion.. Good to hear you are going to be drying out soon.. Hopefully the ark has a big compost pile for all your presents from the animals!

We were able to dig out the truck and Tristen played in teh snow a bit. Gotta get ready to go get Tony from Grandmas house and hopefully teh kerosine heter too while we are out..

Will check in later But sending a few pictures to show whats going on around here..

OMG, beautiful yet hiding all the dangers in that picture there Synda.
I'm glad Rick can be safe.

Thanks for the coffee Donna. LK must be sleeping in.
Hope the snow storm stops immediately, and Monday work will be back to normal.

You too, Kim??? Let me send you your 'boulder holder' to help you scoop out the snow from your driveway! Nope, don't think they'll fit that snowman (is he a cross-dresser?)

Sis Kathy, a pirogue won't get you nowhere unless you have an outboard motor attached to it!!!! Your back can't take the paddling!!

I'll take the water issues we're having here, compared to what my snowed in sisters are facing.
When I was in Indiana, I enjoyed watching the snow falling, from INSIDE the house. The landscape draped by snow was beautiful, until my BFF's husband had to come out with the snow blower to clear his driveway... and the kids helping out with shovels.
What I don't enjoy was having to layer myself with so much clothings that I think I wore everything I had brought with me!!! Kinda looked like that little kid in "Christmas Story"... can't put my arms down!!

We will be making a supply pick up this afternoon. It was cancelled yesterday on acct. of the rain. Told Kel that I'd feel much better if he'd bring me to a quilt store!!

Oh by the way, there was a bra display last month at a quilt store where the bras were beautifully embellished. Hmmm.. either I turned them into purses like Thunder had suggested or just sequinned and laced them!!

Now for lunch, if you ladies are hungry.... it's almost noon here...
I've prepared some finger food. Club sandwiches and some
'chicken n biskit' crackers to go with them. No sodas.. just Donna's coffee or plain H20!

Have a warm Saturday.

Poor Max...

I agree with you Donna... Maid M. will have a nice heap of compost, but will she clean up after the animals??

Lolol!!!

Good morning, I am here, just lurking.

I found this in a pot of dirt, I bought from an estate sale last summer. The pot had my pink 4 oclock's in it, and I dumped it out to thin out the tubers. Well, when I found this I was really surprised!
Can anyone tell me what it is? A spearpoint, a scraper?
Anyway, I had two huge tubers, and one little one, so Kathy, I will get one out to you in the mail soon!

Beautiful Snow Pictures!

Everyone take care this weekend and stay warm, stay dry, stay safe!

We are fifties and sunshine today..... if we get any more cold weather at all this year we will be in so much trouble.... I just went out back with the dog and all of bulbs and iris think it is spring, they are coming up like crazy. But, don't much we can do about it...it sure isn't going to do the Tulip and Daff industry up north of here any good... everything will be bloomed and gone Before Tulip Festival at the rate it is going. The weather is not helping the ski events for the Olympics much either.....we needed the cold and snow Here this winter.

I have all the blocks finished for my Squares Afghan....anyone have any recommendations for the best way to put them together?

Carrollton, OH(Zone 6a)

Well my car under there somewhere .........LOL.
