Group Seed Swap Discussion2

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

We are back in NY and I weeded around the mailbox and found seedlings from last year's plants. I am thrilled. I hope we've seen the last of the frost as I've removed all the leaves which provide insulation. Yesterday I planted a couple of window boxes and attached the trellis to the . deck. I'm taking a chance as the woodchuck is still around and loved to nibble on the young shoots. Looking into a service that removes pesky critters. If it's not too expensive, I'm going for it. Thanks for all the pictures. Really like to see how things are growing.

new thread for slow-dial-uppers? I have been enjoying everyone's learning experiences and look forward to seeing how those progress.

I do feel a part of this thread, since I did initially join, as well as send seeds to some folks who wanted to join, but didn't think they had enough seeds to do so (although it looks like they decided not to - maybe next time they'll participate).

And I held back joining the second round, because due to the generosity of other folks' sharing their seeds with me, I thought it best to let newbies have that chance. It's always fun to see newbies bloom as they discover these wonderful flowers.

Mittsy - Good luck with your seeds and also the sprouts around your mailbox. Those vines were I. purpureas and are known for coming back year after year! :-) The gift that keeps on giving.

I'll start a new thread so folks can see what everyone is growing from the Group Seed Swap. I look forward to seeing everyone's blooms! ;-)
