Got a few more this morning. Here's that beautiful male.
Painted Bunting pics
LOL, very cute GP!
Those are great GP...that squabbling one is a crack up!
Yes, and you notice it's a male and a female squabbling....
and I'll bet she wins.
Very nice pics GP! I'll bet you'll be sad to see them go.
In a way, but I'm sure if they were here year round I would not appreciate them as much!
Thats true, it's the same way I feel about the hummingbirds.
Lovely shots again GP! I thought I saw an Indigo the other day and took a very long shot pic of it but it was a very blue Bluebird!! I am waiting patiently......LOL!
Gee, they're such pretty birds. Sure you can't send some of them this way? Great pictures GP!
Very nice GP, they are so beautiful little bird. LOL on the one meeting on line.
Very cute!
Nice pics GP! They are such sweet birds.
Thanks, Pelle. There are still some here, including a male Painted Bunting, but I imagine this may be their last week here.
Beautiful!
GEORGOUS Buntings!!! I wish they would hang out at my feeders!!! hahahaha
Great shots GP!! They are such beautiful little birds!
Beautiful birds, GP.
Thanks. They sure brighten up a yard.
Gardenpom: Wow, what a great thread, I can't believe I haven't seen it until now but I'm bad about remembering to check out the different threads here on the Bird Forum.
Your photo's are really amazing! Great shot's of both the Painted and Indigo Buntings! I've never seen the Indigo and they are cutie's too .. love that blue color! Until a few weeks ago I had been seeing quite a few Painted Buntings (since @ mid January). I thought they had all migrated back north but I'm still seeing a few straggler's again lately! Aren't they just the prettiest little birds? I call the male PB "Rainbow Bird" because of the pretty colors! What type of seed do you serve to attract the PB and Indigo Bunting?
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful photo's!
Lin
