haven't read yet - that's next, except that the sunshine is calling me outside. Having trouble get moving today. called the doc first thing for appt. My fav thing about that office is same day appts. But not today. Tomorrow afternoon. My sinuses are decidedly infected. Yuck.

so no pool today. But I've got to do something because this feeling of being healtier is real JAZZ turn on.

oh, and I called the spay and neuter clinic, too. Our vet charges $240. The clinic is $60, so Faith goes next Thursday. Faith had her first heat. Have heard the phrase "as a cat in heat" before. never knew it was for real. This kitten was begging for it from the whole world. Living with her is impossible - no more heat for this kitty. I couldn't take it.

Bonnie we have a cat that the mother deserted so I bottle fed and wipe her little butt so she could go potty,the vet said she was barely 2 weeks old and would never live.She's about 10 yrs now.But she is very small,only weighs 6 pounds.Her name is Jack(a whole other story)Never got her fixed.She is my cat normally,but when she is in heat she wants to be Ricks girlfriend.......She has NO idea she is a cat.She think other cats are disgusting....LOL.But she will literally hang on Ricks leg.......it is so funny and he gets so annoyed with her.We call it her affliction,(Jack is having her affliction).When having her affliction,she will lay on whatever with her butt in the air and ever so delicately stick out one hind leg.Our lives are totally about her most of the time,she's our kid.She trys to answer the phone,turn off the alarm clock and I have to watch because she wil push the buttons on the printer,she loves to watch the paper fly out.Came home a few times and there were a hundred or more blank sheets of printer paper all over the computer room floor.

That cat sounds so funny, had to laugh at it "printing" out all those pages. I remember, so many years ago, my son brought home a black & white bunny that he found out in the field across from the house. When I would go out to hang clothes that darn bunny would try to climb my leg. It got to be that I was almost afraid to go out in the back yard. So many stories here bring up memories. That must have been at least 30 years ago.

It really rained hard this morning. In a way I was glad my dr. appointment was cancelled, but DH had an appointment at 1PM and the rain was still coming down. By the time we got out of the clinic the rain had stopped and sun came out. Another storm is on the way and they said it is going to be really bad. Well, I know we needed rain, but it really could stop for a while. Floodiing causing a lot of problems for some. I could use a day of sunshine and dry ground. Then summer will come and we will wish for rain again.

Time to fix some dinner, think it will be a taco night. Easy to fix and I can use paper plates for this one.

My sister and I raised 6 turkeys once. They never bothered us when we had to go into the pen to water or feed them, but when her husband entered the pen, one of those big male turkeys would start courting his leg. Made us laugh our rears off!! He got mad! But he enjoyed the turkey dinner when it came time.

No clinic here neither. But I'm lucky there is one vet that charges 45 for neutering and 95 for spaying. Other vets charge $$$. Folks from big cities like MB use him.

Well, Extreme Home Makeover just completed building a brand new house for a very well deserving family. They live about 20 minutes away from us, in a community called Allsbrook, S.C. There were five thousand spectators for the grand unveiling. Wow!! That's more than the whole county!!!! I was telling Kel that he should be peddling boiled peanuts to that group!

I have to escort Kel tomorrow early morning, bringing the box truck to be fixed. So I'll say goodnight for now.

She is doing well, getting ready to go on her trip to Meixco soon. Been busy traveling to see family and
take care of medical issues. Not to worry just checkups and dentals. She sounded awsom, always fun to chat, laugh and play catch up.
LOL, I still have a housewarming present for her. Will be able to get it to her, she we are hoping she'll come to my Bahamamma party!
Which is in Feb. Then Turtlechi is visiting her and I hope to be able to join them for a day.

Then, while searching, I stumbled across BJ's #!! So gave her a ringle jingle too!! So chatted with her a bit as well. Bj and Don are doing well. They are busy with the girls, everyone doing well. Also anxious for softball season...BJ was in gazeebo and thinking of us all laughing and having a good time. She sounded awsom too... Told her to say Hi to Phylis. Who is doing well too. She is involved in the exchange program scheduallng and they are looking forward to working together with that. BJ keeps in touch w Mike once a month. He is doing good too. For Christmas BJ sent him his year book

Yes, my Dad lives with me. Dad had several strokes 9 years ago, and they left him, mentally and physically impaired. He can't do anything for himself, and since Mom passed away 4 years ago, one of us kids have had him living with us. I have one Sister, and two Brothers, so we take turns.
It is about 63 here this morning, with a light misty rain.

Sorry I've been awol for a couple of days...glad to see you all got along fine while I was gone.

We had to take Cayenne to the vet cause she had this big bubble on her head by her ear. It just started out small like a pea, but it had grown to the size of a small meatball. The vet said it was a tumor and that she wasn't worried about it, but it did need to come off, so she went yesterday and had that removed. They sent it away to have it tested, so pray that it comes back okay. So two days of vet bills was over $600.00. Sigh...

I have a that job interview tomorrow, so I'm nervous and excited. They said they would be interviewing for it for 4 days, so I know that there were a lot of applicants. I just hope if I'm right for it and that the money is decent. So I'd appreciate any prayers you guys would offer up for me!

Bertie and I have been walking 3 miles every other day at the mall. That's an hour. I need new sneakers so bad, by the time we're finished the bottom of my feet are just burning! So I've been looking for a good deal on shoes. I think we're going to the outlet mall this week (Bertie and me) and maybe I can find something there.

It's supposed to be 49 by the weekend here. Sounds like a heat wave to me!

My mom called last night and she said she doesn't feel any pain like she did, but the needing to pee feeling is definitely there, which is weird because she was diagnosed with Interstitial Stetitus but went away when her bladder was removed and it's been gone for 20 years, now suddenly it's back. I told her she might need to go to a urologist and find out what the problem is. Anyway, I'm sure she can get some sort of medicine for that or something to help with that.

We're having thunderstorms and I have to go to wal mart. Happy Happy Joy Joy a thunderstorm came right over my house at midnight and hung around until 2am! There is one thunderstorm in the whole state and it's right over my house headed right to my work, figure it will get here right when I have to leave. gggrrrrrrr

Afternoon all. Lazy me is just struggling out of bed as I worked on festival things until the wee hours again. Several members of the committee are really sick so we each try to cover for the others. Thank goodness I don't have a small child to get off to school in the mornings!!

I am a little slow on things so I will try to catch up. Kathy, bologna weighs whatever you want it to--if I make a sandwich it is heavy--especially fried on toast with spicy mustard--good eating in my book. Take care of that back--you too Jaye and Trisha.

I just came back from my Dad's foot Dr, and I was informed that he has PAD/peripheral artery desease, real bad in his right foot, and may have to have surgery for it! I don't know much about it, but will be searching the web to find out! His right side, was paralysed from the strokes he had, and now his circulation is real bad, and causing the peripheral artery desease! Dr, said if he does not have surgery soon, he will lose the foot, to gangrene. So we need to do something quick, he sees a specialist next Tuesday.
Guess I need to get something pulled from the freezer for dinner. See you all later.
