Morning Everyone !!!!!

They keep trying to take Kassie out of the coma,up until last night she would fight really bad so they had to restrain her and put her back in,but last night she did wake up for a little bit.Her eyes keep darting back and forth extremely fast.They are doing another CAT Scan at 10 am to see if her brain is still swelling.If it is they are going to have to do surgery.She has gotten an E-coli virus from the catheter,which isn't good either.

Oh, Synda, I'm praying for Kassie. We just have to turn it over to the Lord, even though that is so tough to do sometimes....

I do have to tell you that that picture and saying brought my first laugh of the day! I would love to have that poster sized!

LK, the company that I sent my resume to on that thread you shared with me just called and I'm to go interview there on Thursday. I'll be praying that the money is right and they offer me the job. Since it's right here in Franklin, the commute time would be "sweet"! :o)

Kavin is doing fine now....he got a "dump" truck for all his efforts to go!

Joyce your GS is in my prayers, poor little guy. I had a friend who had cystic fibrosis, I had to end the friendship because he didn't care about anything but drinking and I just can't stand that.

Susan my mom is in surgery as well, as we speak. Best wishes going to Alice. I'll let you all know when I hear something, but it could be awhile, her surgery was scheduled for 9:30am and it's a 3 to 4 hour surgery.

Several prayers going out today to Crissy, Susan, Joyce and all of our others friends who may be under the weather.
Speaking of which, we got 8-10 inches of the white stuff last night!! It is so pretty but what a chore to clean up as it is the heavy wet stuff this time.
Cleaning closets today so I best be getting to it. Hope your day is good.....

Yeah it's Monday, and I've already started to feel its' boorish effect, without coffee :( Where's the coffee Synda?
'Cos it's MLK's day today! Did I remember that??? No.. not me! Lugged around a big bag of packaged to be mailed, only to find that the post office is closed.

I'm like you Synda, I try to possibly maneuver without any. I don't take the Darvocet as recommended and Advils nor Tylenol don't work for me.

Would you believe that we slept with the a/c on last night. It got incredibly warm.. then back to a brisk 50's this morning.

Well up no sleep all night so ay 2 now no sleep he is raging cursing ect.. i wanted to try go to sleep around 6 but he started in all things i needed to do but no i'm lazy.. i hate to be mean but if he had my pain one day or night he would go really crazy for sure. Oh no i hear him now moving to bathroom. i fed dogs cats cleaned bird cage but he willl still have oh yeah i forgot need to vacuum floors again. must get off..

"Julie" Cassie aunt ,my SIL, just called and told me that Cassie had her CAT Scan this morning and has a very large bruise on her brain.As to how it will heal ???????? All they can do is watch and pray.She said it is still touch and go.

Have the swelling gone down in her brains, Synda? I know the family and you have heard it often, but we'll pray that the doctors are guided by the Lord to heal her.

Each aware moment, if my mind's not occupied with whatever I'm working on, prayers continue for all that need.

Sorry it took so long for me to get to ya'll. My step dad called this afternoon right when I was in the middle of pouring cement with Dave LOL He said the dr told him that he feels she will get a lot of much needed relief and feels the surgery will be a success for her. She was still asleep but I know she will call me as soon as she is coherent enough. We're pooped and going to go out to dinner, 5 hours of cement pouring is a lot of hard labor!

Jaye,the swelling hasn't gone down,but I don't believe it has gotten any worse.And as you know each and every pray always helps.....

A little bit of humor from mommas side of the day.....slowly she has been able to pick up a word here and there to say,well she told my step dad today "B@ll$h!t.....now this from a woman who has always scolded me for cursing.But Dale aggravates her soooooooo bad not understanding what she is trying to tell him.Of late she has been getting so frustrated....LOL.

wow, crissy, that's a lot of cement pouring. That's one trade I'd like to know. I'm not kidding - I demanded a little cement mixer for my birthday 3 years ago!

Well, Alice is out of surgery - she went in an hour late and they took two lymph nodes out that they hadn't planned on, but they were pleased with the surgery - it went well.
She's sleeping, and in her room now.

Thank you for your prayers. She's supposed to go home within a week, but they said that 5 years ago when she had her last surgery, and stayed in longer. She's 68, and not as peppy as she was then even.

Darn I did it again. I was ready to send my post when I went back to look at the "woman's praer" that synda posted and lost it all. I love that prayer, should have it enlarged and framed. LOL

We finally got our much needed rain and it really poured and heavy winds too. One place I saw a large palm tree had fallen across the street, but the city was out already taking care of it. So many small branches and leaves scattered all over. When we got home the rain had stopped and the sun tried to come out. Some places by the ocean are getting flooded.

No doctor appointment tomorrow. He is out sick, and next available appointment is the 5th of Feb. You just don't think your doctor should get sick. He is such a good doctor and is well liked by everyone.

Off the Facebook for a little farming then hope to finish up a book I'm reading then will be time to crawl into a warm bed.

Susan and Crissy, I'm sure you are both relieved.
We'll do our part here, will still continue to pray for great recovery.

Looking forward to more great news from you both.

Coffee is fresh brewed.I got up at 4:45,becacause my darling,tiny ,petite, hubby(of 225 lbs)decided he needed to roll (ROLL) over in bed.LOL ! Honest to Pete you'd think he was a fis out of water the way he flops his carcass around in bed.Well he woke me enough to realize "I" had to pee.......thank you darlin',so now I'm up !!!!

Good Morning All,

I have been having a hard time staying online. The rain and winds are so bad that it keeps knocking the satellite out. Right now the wind is blowing 25 - 30 an hour and I have to go bowling ugh. I hate it when the wind blows it messes my hair up.

Anyhooo.....not much happening with dating right now. Except that I am chatting with 4 guys. I talk to Mike the Irishman everyday, he told me that when he leaves Arizona to head back to Washington he is taking a detour. Yep, he is coming to Auburn to stay awhile for us to meet and get to know each other. But that won't happen until April.He wants a traveling buddy. I don't have to pay for anything. He has a 21 ft travel trailer and a 35 ft 5th wheel. He lost his wife in1995 to Lou Gehrig's disease, and has no intentions of marrying again.

Steve............well we are still friends and he is hoping that someday we will go back to being more than that. But as far as I am concerned it won't happen until he is able to turn his life around, get a steady job and dump all these so called friends.

Rocky........I talk with him every other day or so. He wanted me to come down last night. But with this storm I won't go too far from home. So I told him I would come down Saturday. For someone who just wants dating he is asking me to come down alot. Hmmmm maybe he is thinking differently now.

Then there is Chuck...........poor guy is working so much that he is tired. We have not planned another date, I told him that I bowl on Tuesday nights and he can come there to meet me. Then we will see what happens between us. He may so up tonight but I'm not holding my breath.

LOL this is so funny because I went so long without chatting with any men and now I've got 4 of them interested in me. But have only met 2. So who will it be Bachelor #1, 2, 3 or 4????????????

Cindy, sounds like you have it all under control, and are having fun doing it!
Just get to know them, before you take off on us! We will worry about you, when you go traveling with any of them.

Well the only one doing the traveling will be with Mike. Although I may do an out of towner with Rocky on the Harley when the weather is better. Steve is pretty much stuck in Sacramento, Chuck remains to be seen.
