Extra prayers went out this morning, to include Haiti.
And more prayers going out later, for sistahs who will be on the road, no matter how long or short. Too many irresponsible drivers out there.

Ahhhh Susan.. I'd LOVE to misbehave physically, but I'll be grimacing in pain. Mental will do?

Don't know whether it's from an old injury or something else Bon. Took a Darvocet this morning, hoping it will do its' magic today.

It's a Catholic organization. See some shuddering that here I am a Baptist, promoting something Catholics do. But, we're all Christians under different labels... and as long as this organization is working for Christ, who am I to judge ;) Their organization is legit.

Beena long day al;ready.. Went to grocery, bank, WM, and library already today.. Now Im off to cleanout the deep freeze that mysteriously got unplugged (when Im not sure) to clean out the whole thing as everythiing inside is very warm t o the touch.. Grrrr Only found it because I was going to pull a few things out before I headed to grocery and restock the upstairs freezer.. What a shame to have lost all that was in there... SIGH

Well I better get going I still have a ton to do today before two when I have a haircut comming over,,

Jaye, adding my prayers to others for your quick recovery and of course to the Haiti victims as well.

I took my resume and filled a job application today. It said not to expect to hear anything for 20-30 days....sigh....

I've been searching Monster.com for jobs...seems like so many of the ones posted are for Employment agencies and I'm just not ready to get into that mess yet.

My GS Luke, got jumped at school yesterday. He's okay, but has a big knot on his forehead. Seems this kid has been trying to get him to fight for quite some time and Luke, just keeps telling him to buzz off cause he's not getting suspended for fighting with him. So the guy finally took matters into his own hands and pushed him off the bleachers 3rd level and then jumped on him and started pummeling when he landed. One of Luke's friends finally got the kid in a choke hold and pulled him off. Looks like that kid will get suspended and the other two won't cause they didn't throw any punches. I'm so proud of Luke for not letting himself lose control and whaling back on the kid.

Well, need to get moving....

I wasn't going to be that blunt about it but I do agree with you LK...I said on another thread that if I had done something like that, my parents would have killed me. Twice....once for fighting and the other for being suspended...and then again for being a bully.......but now they say just talk to the kids and put them in therapy so they can talk out their anger issues.

And they wonder what is wrong with the world today?

Good afternoon all. Bonjon it is facebook where you farm and have flower gardens, etc. Some have really awsome farms. Cute little animals too. I figure that all the running I do I get way too much exercise. Is there something wrong with TOO much? BTW when I was looking for a jacket to wear I discovered a pair of black pants on the same hanger. A size 10, wow that has been so long ago that I wore that size, guess I won't get back there so into the thrift store bag it goes.
Spend way too much time on facebook, but if I don't get back to some places my crops die or someone steals them. Yep, neighbors can steal your crops if you don't watch out.

OK, I said I had to pot up some brugs so I better do it. It is still sunny out, but a very cool breeze. DH finally finished up a small plastic fence so the doggies don't go in the canopy where all his junk is and moved my swing back where I had it. I still have a couple of tomato plants in my raised bed, but althought there are still green I don't think I'll get any tomatoes. I think I should forget about growing tomatoes in the winter. You sure can't depend on the weather any more.

Take it easy all with back problems, when it hurts you just can't do anything. Well, off to gather up pots and potting mix.

Special Prayers for Haiti both those who live there and all the relief workers trying to assist them, whatever race, religion and country they come from...or are sending help from my the Lord be with them all.

Not only am I stiff and sore from Carpet cleaning last night but I woke up with a headache, sniffing and sneezing..... it is gray and raining. Just put soup on to cook...finished a newsletter ad for Bill...now I am going to take my coca and crawl under my little electric blanket and rest until the guys get here to work on the bath...and son just arrived so I can actually go to sleep.

Hello Ladies,


So many sad things happening all around the world.

I am now chatting with 3 guys, dated one and waiting to date another. Chuck and I still have not met yet. He has been working 15 hour days, poor guy. By the time he gets home from work I'm in bed and when i get up in the mornings he is gone to work already. His day starts at 2:30 am and ends anywheres between 5:30 & 8:00 p.m. So we have been leaving each other notes on IM so that when we log on it is the first thing we see.
He was going to come see me at bowling Tuesday night but when I talked to him before I left he was 1 1/2 hours away and still had to take back to yard and load for Wednesday. It was 8:00 before he got home so he just went to bed because he had to get up at 2:00 to be to work by 2:30. We are not giving up on meeting each other, we have too much in common and a lot of interest each other just by chatting.

Then there is Rocky, we are just going to be dating, motorcycle riding buddies. That is perfectly fine with me because he really isn't my type but I enjoy his company and he is easy to talk to. He said that anytime I want to come down to use the sauana, hot tub and swimming pool to let him know. He is giving me the key code to the front door. Plus I am going to do a little house cleaning for him, he is going to pay me $20 an hour. I can always use some extra money.


Steve..................... he has so many problems right now that his attitude just sucks and I can't stand to even talk to him on the phone. Told him until things get better for him and he gets a better attitude we are cooling it.

Then there is Mike, I had talked to him way back in Aug. He is the guy who lives in Oroville, Washington and has family out here in CA. He is 60 an ex military man with a beautiful Harley. We got connected again the other day, and started IM this morning. He is in Lake Havasu in Arizona, and wanted to know if I would like to join him for some riding, good food & fun, he would send me a plane ticket, lol. Yea right,!! Told me all I had to bring was my leathers. Guess you know what he has in mind, LOL. Dirty old man!!! Sounds like this man may have some money. He has been a widower for a long times. He's not bad looking, but a little to skinny for me. I like my men to have some meat on their bodys like Rocky and Chuck do.

We have seen the sunshine for 2 days now but that is going to end soon as it gets closer to Saturday we are going to have rain and wind and will get up ten feet of snow in the Sierra's. We are going to have lots of water in our lakes this summer, yippie will make fishing better. Ok need to get busy sewing again. Making all kinds of things for swaps.

linda, he's ok, but was in shock or just plain scared for a couple of days

LK, we are hoping that these injections will prevent surgery. Her knee is really sore today. She said that the injection that they gave her yesterday hurt more than the first one. Well, duh they shot her in the same place. I told her next Wed., it will hurt even more. That will be the last shot then it will take 2 -3 weeks before we will know if they are going to work or not.

Ah, sounds like she is getting the synvisc injections. I hope they work for her too, and yeah, she will be sore for a day or two, but if they work, they work good!

Did I miss something? Who is Sammy and why would someone shoot him with a pellet gun? That is just horrible!

Taking a break today and will be back later to read through and catch up on what I missed...(like who sammy is)

Cindy, I had those injections, before I had my knee replacement. The shots lasted for about 8 months. They have to do the shots, to rule out all possibilities, before they do surgery.
Well, I have my bags packed, and will take off first thing in the morning.

Calling all late nighters . . .

The neighbors behind our apartment have been arguing and fighting for the past few hours. They are probably both have been drinking, but him . . . he apparently had been hitting himself in the head, then drove off in the rain with the 1 month old baby. With no carseat. The girls are camped out on my couch, while their mother talks to the police outside. I am not equipped - even with my husband helping with the mother - to handle this by myself . . .

Hi ladies........Sorry I've been MIA.My life is just a very vicious circle that has happened at this time to come and slap me in the face,and not just once. What is funny,by 2 totally different things that don't have anything to do with each other.You'd think I'd get used to it...........LOL.I had just told a friend of mine that I was getting too comfortable and that ain't good.See when that happens in my life there is a storm brewing in the midst...........I should always listen to that little inner me!

So sorry about Sammy,people can be so very cruel.

Nichole, I'll pray your neighbours' fight would soon be resolved, and especially for the safe return of the baby.
Thank God, the girls are safe and warm, though the matter overwhelms you. I think we will react that way too. Already if that were to happen to a family member, we'd be all twisted up in knots, whereas a neighbour.

Hang in there, Synda. Will pray that He gives you the strength and wisdom to handle them.

Ya know I was told years ago that when you have so much faith in the Lord that Satan will try and throw pain and obstacles in your life to sway you.But one thing that Satan doesn't understand about me is I will throw away the obstacles and endure the pain,no matter what I lose or how much it hurts.But me and the Lord are tight.It makes for an unpleasant life here on earth but,the rewards in the end are much greater.
