DAILY PICS VOL. 274
Great shots Chris and Dave!
It's good to see you posting photos, Resin. Beautiful shots!
Water Can, beautiful photos of the wp and that cardinal. Wow
Nanny, great photos. I'm assuming those are the pretty Yellow-shafted Flickers. Do you ever see the Red-shafted there?
Mrs Ed, I love your starlings and that tongue is something else. Looks like they love your suet on the sunflower.
Nice shots everyone!
WC, Very good one of the Cardinal!
Nanny, I love the Flicker!
LOL Mrs Ed, good catch!
Nice ones Duc and Red!
chris8796 - I'll bet it was fun watching that titmouse with that material
2dCousinDave - I had a Song Sparrow visit yesterday. All your pics are sharp focus.
Resin - I've never seen a Fieldfare, the red berries sure set it off nicely.
reddirtretiree - That pic with the waterfalls and the birds in the foreground is really nice.
ducbucln - it was nice seeing a birdbath that wasn't frozen. I pour warm water into mine, but it re-freezes.
WaterCan2 - How in the world did you get that close for the Cardinal head shot? Great pic. Real sharp.
nanny_56 - those 2 male Northern Flicker are really nice looking. I've never seen one.
Mrs_Ed - what are those Starlings eating?
I was outside today and took a lot of pics. Saw nothing new. I kept looking for that hawk to make another appearance, but no luck. Now I've got to go through them and see which one on want to keep.

This Oriole's nest (made from fishing line) was at the edge of the lake where the Ring-necked Ducks were.
Nasty bird trap! Hope there weren't any dead chicks stuck inside caught on the fishing line. Try to get it all down and burn it if you can, nylon line is lethal for birds.
Resin
Boo on the fishing line.
Hack, that's some home made suet/seed shoved in an old giant sunflower head.
Duc, we only have the Yellow Shafted Flickers here. The Red Shafted are generally found in the western part of the country.
That is a cool idea Mrs. Ed wish I would have saved some of my huge seed heads!
Wish I could find a card in my drawer with those kinds of shots!
LOL, Nice ones Dave! Love the White-throated Sparrow.
Hack, thats is so great you have Pine Warblers. Nice shots!
Visited Lake Thunderbird yesterday. Had quite a lot of ice. We were primarily looking for eagles, but didn't see any. Saw this fellow near our house. I had one really good pose, but was slightly out of focus. The rest of the time, he remained hidden with cover between us. Interesting birds to watch. Greater Roadrunner.
