Time for a new start. We came from http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1067702/ Hope you'll go back and check out all the photos there.
Here's a Golden crowned Sparrow to start us off.
DAILY PICS VOL. 274
Resin, that photo is just beautiful!!
Hack, sure sorry to cut off your beautiful photos. Hope everyone will take a look at them.
Yeah, we're having our worst winter for 28 years (possibly 47 years)*, snow on the ground for 3 weeks now. Yukk! Hard times for birds too, good that there's a nice berry crop for them

* Take a look at this NASA photo . . . http://rapidfire.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/gallery/2010007-0107/GreatBritain.A2010007.1150.500m.jpg
I wonder how Brother Al explains this in light of his claims of "Global Warming"?

The planet is actually cooling right now, funny human's have not been around that long, but they think they got a 5 billion year old planet figured out.
No political subjects please. :-)
Wonderful start Duc!
Resin, Great shot of the Redwing!
Bobby, Love the Eastern Towhee!
Nanny, Sweet Carolina Wren!
Great shots Everyone!!! Duc, nice shots and thanks for starting the new thread! Nice shots on the previous thread to all also!
Hack, I really like your Warbler, Thrasher, and Cardinal shots, they look really good!
Resin, nice shots of the Redwing! They look just like an American Robin except for the coloring.
Nanny, nice shot of your Carolina Wren! I finally heard one sing a few notes the other day at the Marsh.
I have a few shots to share... Today I had the most birds ever, to visit the feeder's.
Start off with the Black-capped Chickadee with a seed.
Sweet ones Burd!!
Here's the injured Grackle again, he broken off the left lower part of his bill, he must be in pain, after he eats he bites the snow and holds it in his mouth (numbs pain?), others do the same thing but I think they are getting their water that way.
Edited for spelling.

Burd_Fotos - I've found that my Downys are partial to Peanut Delight Suet. I've never tried Nutty Delight - I don't even remember seeing any around here. Where do you buy your suet? I visit Walmart and Lowe's to get mine. Walmart is about $0.50 cheaper, though.

Hack, I go to the local Grainery, which also has a nice little store that has better but cheaper suet and bird food. I buy the suet by the dozen (cheaper per), same as the store's. The actual name is called Nutty Treat, I just read the package. It has a Downy right on the package.
Great shots everyone, I really like your Redwing also. It has a great background with the snow and berries.
I braved the cold this morning to get out for a hike. It was 3 degrees when we left and about 12 degrees when we got back. Nothing spectacular in the photos, but a couple nice shots.
We went to Starved Rock state park in north central IL. I'll start with a picture of starved rock and a game of "where's Baldo"
