JJ, so you saw the old one! I remember seeing the old one and really liked it. I wasn't as impressed with the new trailers I saw. However, a lot of the older movies had more impact at that time.

It's 15° here, they say the high for today is going to be 12°. Go figure.

I spent my night watching 'Dexter'. DS insists we watch it, he has the DVD's. We don't watch any of the network shows, only 'Lost'. It's not too bad, a little over the top, though.

I've never heard of it....I'm slugging coffee & scrubbing bathrooms....

It's a 'Showtime' show. I don't have any premium channels, so never heard of it either. I asked him how he watches this stuff, he doesn't have premium channels either. Kids spend too much time surfing the net ~ he found a website similar to Hulu.

We're still holding at 15° here, I don't think mom is going to want to go out today. Can't tolerate being cold and it's not exactly warm in our house either. And it's snowing Charlie Brown snow, you know how they show a few flakes falling out of the sky? That's what it's doing here. I'd take a picture but DD broke her camera. Darned girl, she's not careful with her things at all. Good thing I bought the 'no questions asked' warranty, they're sending a gift card for a new one.

I have a fresh pot of coffee brewing if anyone wants some..

Good Morning All. JJ, I have watched previews for Dexter....spooky weird premise for that one for sure....Serial killer to catch serial killers....eww.

20 degrees and the sun is out.....finally got DH to sort through clothes...dresser and closet. Why would some one keep a bunch of mismatched socks....things with worn out elastic and holes, that don't fit? And complain that he doesn't have room....oh yeah....male. Grin

Got a bin started for GW, a fat happy rag bag and a generous addition to the trash....GSJordan's had a lot for GW...Lord has he grown this year....found a couple pair of sneakers from last year...size 8 1/2....his new ones we got Wednesday are 10 1/2.....more hollow leg to fill....grin

Gonna try to catch up....got a b'ball game this afternoon, then GS off to spend night with his Dad....Hope you all have a fine, safe day. Stay warm and be happy....Moon

Taking Mom to get haircut this morning.
Think I'm getting inner ear infection or something, dizzy all day yesterday and this morning ears ache a little and still dizzy when getting up or bending down.

Wash your ears out with a few drops of alcohol....removes any water and kills bacteria....it really does help, JJ.

Lynnie, I drink more coffee than anything else, which isn't good, I know. You were saying yesterday (wa-ay up there ↑) about sweets & coffee after lunch. Agree, gotta have a fresh one with the sweet.

Moon, I remember when DS would grow every time I blinked. Now he wears a size 12 shoe. Yes, Dexter is a little strange. We wonder how a boy who loves Shakespeare and spouts prose would like that kind of show, but he does.

JJ take care of that ear. Moon is right, the alcohol *does* help.

Dixie and Flowers must be busy with the grands, today. No wind and the sun is shining brightly...looks just lovely til you step out the door...OWW! So cold it hurts.

Oh, Venice, not sure exactly which thistle, maybe a Bull Thistle....The picture was taken on your end of the Mississippi, in Indiana. It is a lovely picture though.

Well don't know who was driving that bus, but they left me two Texas tornados :-) We played, sang,drank hot chocolate and ate everything in the house, bathed the dog, then paid them to help me clean up lol. We watched the movie cars, that was the cutest movie that all ages would love. Lightening McQueen was the main character, which was a race car that talked, and all his aquaintances were race cars too, some were rust buckets from the past. I recommend it highly for kids and adults. They are gone home now, and I need to go find the floor,as their cleaning pratices are limited with lots of cool distractions :-) Always wondered where the other sock went Moon, never do find them lol. Smiley get mom dolled up she will feel so much better. Lynnie have fun at party, and give those poor kids some of that chocolate lol. Catch ya all tonight if your on.

JJ the old folks say pour a little of your own urine in your ear for infection, always thought that was gross so pour a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in your ear and if it bubbles then there is infection going on, get to dr. before it gets worse.

Gotta have that ride Moon! LOL....LOVE IT.....!! Just went out to check on Poo's. DH,took this picture of me in new hat! It's freezing out here,especially early this a.m. Oldest grand is with us. I remember watching Dexter when I had free Showtime for a while. Really creepy but I guess I like creepy!

JJ, have you ever used Sinus Cleanse? It is good for blocked sinuses, post nasal drip, and even clearing eustachion tube next to ear drum. I have used it before and my doctor suggested using it because my one ear is still blocked. I am sure Lynnie would recommend it also. If you have never used it, there is a link showing how to do it on Utube.

Dixie, LOVE your hat! It looks like it would keep you toasty warm.

Kitty ventured outside for about 30 minutes last night. I always wonder where she goes. She jumped one fence and came back under the tall fence. I know she doesn't like to go outside when it is snowing because it tickles her.

I couldn't get to sleep until 4:30 last night but slept until noon. Wow! My sleeping is certainly off schedule.

Flowers,I loved the film "Cars",and I've no little ones to watch kid's films with.I just look out for them for myself when they come on.I have to watch out for them being sad in parts and making me cry:}I think they've made a second Cars film,too.
Moon,your Grandson's growing like my boys.Sam,my almost 18 year old[feb 11],takes size 11 boots and shoes.Dunno if your sizes over there correspond with ours ,but I think they are same.
Venice,that's made me smile,your cat being tickled by the snow:}At least you were able to sleep eventually.I'm sure your sleep patterns will return to normal again when you're well.
Do you sit up and read if you can't sleep?My Dad's sleep is very eratic and he goes through lots and lots of books,but then happily passes them on to me:}

Yes GS plays that movie over and over and giggles and giggles, he is five but I loved it too, guess we never grow up lol. Sounds about the same as our sizes Joy for 18 year old, he's a big boy.
