hate computers!!! borrowing laptop from sil thinks it is the stupid cable motem

betty, no on earthquake, first one was about 45 minutes south of us it was felt in random areas,
and the second one about 2 hours north, dawn is to far south we got lucky this time :)

Liz, glad both you and Dawn were not affected...Judy was telling me about your computer problems as well..said it was like being in prison for you without one..at least you both can do texting...lol..

Trisha, didn't look at the directions as yet..am hoping that it's something that can be done on my knitting machine..know doing the cable is easy on it so once I get past the cleaning and the afghans think I might give it a try...

I stayed up until 10:30 last night..wow...late for me but wanted to watch 2 shows..the documentary on the father that got his son after the 5 year battle with grandparents in Brazil and then the story about the landing of the plane on the Hudson in N.Y.

Off to take everything out of the little cafe room..no storm so would imagine Mark will be here to do the flooring and if he doesn't it will be clean and ready for when he does...ohhh almost tempted to try and move the stove and fridge myself..haven't done so in awhile, hate to see what treasures he'll find when he moves it...must make a point in picking up rollers that they sell for easy movement..do any of you have them and do they work?

Debbie, had to go upstairs and take photo for you...the past few days this gigantic white cat comes and sits on back deck waiting for me to let Riley outside to play..now Riley hissess and claws at Missy and yet befriends this pretty...

lol betty, never would i have thought how dependant i have become on computers!
gawd mil and fil trying to do one of those short sales had a buyer but the inspector had a list of things to fix
so fil dosnt know if he is going to fix them or just stay.
house is to big for them and she is selling tools and furniture left and right he gave me a nice sander that mounts on a bench and a hand sander mil is piling things off on me only a matter of time before kenny puts his foot down lol

Liz, how exciting for you to be getting more tools..didn't you just go through you entire place and rid yourself of boxes and boxes..now you are getting more treasures..my thoughts, go through them take what you want and off to Salvation Army or something similar...

Liz, just nice knowing when you are alone in the house that you can still gab with someone...think that's the first thing I'd replace if something went wrong...

Did Kenny start his old job? How are things going at work for you...settling into a normal routine now that Christmas is over...

LindaKay, how are you feeling today, still pain free...thanks for the link..will most definately drop into Canadian Tire and see if I can pick some up..not about to move fridge and stove everytime I sweep and scratch the flooring...

Trisha, it's been a great morning..I thought is was below zero but it's 19F
you almost after the below zero weather we've been having think spring has arrived..

Made it to the Post Office and got Jade's package off...imagine, bought 3 Christmas gifts while I was at Drug store..too good of a deal not to pick them up...Reg. $16.98 on for $2.49 almost tempted to go back at lunch and purchase a few more...

Also dropped into Walmart for more wool..as I changed half the colors after purchasing some of it on Saturday morning I thought it best to get it, bring it to work and work on it this week...everyone is busy/busy out of the office so it will give me mega time to play...every color I got is in Suzanne's living room..excited about that...

Picked up a Tim Horton coffee and bagel so better go enjoy before it gets cold...

fil is giving kenny a huge tool box to trade for his smaller one kenny said i have no room so i cracked the whip and measured told him he better take it it will fit!
actually i could use another 40 foot debris box omg!
he will start on feb 1st i dont know what he is going to do working a 40 hour shift
will be a nice change for him to get away from 70 hour work week now with all that time on his hands hmmmm got alot of projects to get compleated...

well got to go work in another store with boss today about a hour away so got to scoot

LindaKay..the first one I bought wool at Michaels..cost a fortune, the 2nd one I did for myself I had some wool left over from the first and went to Zellers and they had same color - think wool manufacturers make it for everyone, just change the labels..was cheaper..so now I purchased the big bags 454grams $7.95 here at walmart, some of the colors you'll see from the instructions I sent you you only need a small ball, those I don't purchase the big balls for..wool under label of Red Heart 'comfort'

Glad you have no pain, let's hope it solves all your issues...just DON'T overdo..

Liz, easy to get enthused at all the goodies you are getting and get right back into the same position..I also could have used a green box..luckily the stores next door have one positioned right next to my yard..agreement is if there is room on Wednesday mornings, I can fill it up as they pick it up by 7:30 a.m. so do I have things to go...

What a sense of satisfaction though when you see everything clean and organized...makes you want to keep going..kitchen cupboards this week..

Am hoping if all goes well I'll drop in on Friday to the Glass Studio, pick up supplies to finish the stained glass window hanging..my tape is oxidized I'm sure so need cleaner and some new tape as well as outer textured clear glass...colors will fit perfectly in back bedroom patio door ..

Here are my thoughts, going to decorate, re-arrange or leave same all the rooms in the house..going to make it as country and pretty as I can..then I'll have photographer come and take photo's, use my garden photo's as well (can't have snow showing) and then register properly for my B&B..right now it's just hit and miss...talked to Greg re putting in an outdoor hot-tub next to back bedroom deck, would add to the charm..so that's 2010 goal..met my 2009 goal so it's possible, just have to stay focused..think I can do that!!! lol

Betty what a pretty kitty, wonder if it's a Maine Coon (because of the size) does it have tuffs of fur spiking on top of the ears, a little or a lot?

Didn't look real close Crissy, didn't want to scare it away...I'm sure it belongs to someone but just incase it was hungry I put a container of food outside..the other day another cat was on the back deck...hmmm wonder if it could be that I plastic sheltering the entire deck with a little opening for the door and that I've a quilt on the rocker and an afghan on the other wicker chair..maybe it's just a nice/warm place for them to hang out..lol
