Made it home safe and sound. The snow in Worchester was brief. We hit more in Rochcester, NY and had it all the way home. Around Buffalo it got a little dicey, but all is fine. We have about 2 inches here.
crazy wind started here this morning as well.. 25 now.. says that's our high.. getting colder as the day goes on
16 degrees, crazy wild wind blowing, something hit the roof and scared the kids.

My DH just came back from a walk and I asked about the wind and he said, "as they say in Nantucket, it is coming up with the sun". So it is starting to blow now. Patti

Wow - crazy wind! Did not get much sleep. 20 with below 0 wind chills. Hope to stay inside all day.

The wind seems to have calmed down a bit at last. Very cold at 7º. May climb up to around 30º for a high with partly cloudy skies and breezy, but not as strong gusty wind today. Tomorrow rain likely and warmer.

Windchill advisory all day yesterday and into noontime today. Woke to -12 , at least that is what the weather man claims. I couldn't tell you for sure, im not going out to find out. However....even the Chinooks didn't want to stay out so that speaks to me loud and clear!!

We are warming up. Sun is shinning. Temp has struggled to double digits at 11º now. Wind still blowing from the NW at 5-10mph with some stronger gusts, but not as nasty as yesterday. ☺

was pretty nice for a jog - till i got to that *&*% steep hill - mind won out and i ran up it - still a few 4 letter words passed my lips - and legs are getting better, not as sore now.
Speaking of pain, I woke up yesterday with an excruciating pain in the muscle next to the hip. Could hardly walk. Slightly better today. Wanted to take the kids to the city today but could not.

The sun has warmed up the cold air all the way to the mid 20s now. Hoop Dee Doo. Wind has calmed down considerably now coming from the west, very gentle breeze.
low 30's here. DD rode her horse today in the indoor arena. Still snow on the ground too.
