Been enjoying the burpless.. the skins have been very yummy...
Have only had 2 out of all the picks that were yellow...not sure what causes that.
The heat has put out some good pickles...my vines are not as thick as some of the ones shown here... but still getting pickles.. Mom2goldens your vine is looking great!
I prune off my yellow leaves, perhaps that is why mine is not so thick!
CUCUMBERS for 2010 - WHOSE IN?
My Marketmore have been producing a few cukes each day. I keep one or two for myself and take the rest to the office.
The cucumber beetles have been bad for the first time this year. I did see a baby frog on the leaves last evening so I'm hopeful it will eat some of them.
On the brighter side - not a single Mexican Bean Beetle this year! Yay!
They got the border closed off!
