thx - it was about 3 1/2 ft tall there - it is over seven foot tall now - it really took off last year - had to staked it up - it will need trimming after it blooms in the spring - the old third year fly rule i guess.

Hibiscus

Nice surprise! Do you know the variety?

Beleive it or not, they are called Hibiscus Schizopetalus

I bought them too late in the season to plant out and they have been on my dining room table since October.

Snowing up here in Vermont. Oh to imagine crocus and narcissus blooming soon. Tete a Tete and Pickwick (I think) on April 15th 2009 in Nantucket garden Too bad about that date. Patti

Great iris WC. Blues and yellows are my fav color combos and all on one flower is really nice.
Bill turns up with another temptation in the form of a weeping redbud, very nice.

Victor that is a wonderful close up again. Love the yellow and red of the stamen in contrast to the purple flower petals.

This is how the Oak trees look here in early May. They seem to take forever to fully leaf out.

OHHHH yea thats a wonderful time when all the trees are bright lime green and fluffy looking.
