Cindy glad you like it.
Offical Muffler Sulking Section etc part 3
Well I am packing some yarn to take with me next week so I may have some more scarfs will post pictures after Christmas.
Cindy I think we need a picture of you in the Wrenscarf!
Billy had a gymkana today, just got home.. Will post pictures in a little while after I wind down. 3 kids riding one horse in 4 events and taking pictures for all of the events for all the riders, I think I did eat something, but it was cold and I am not sure what it was...
Wow I bet that was wild. Looking forward to the pictures but first you get some rest and eat some real food
Miss Jestr, you're my hero.
taynors - i'm not sure you can mail snow....
All i want for Christmas is a White Christmas.. maybe if TN is suppose to get one we will too. They had told us we would get one.. now they have downgraded to flurries.. flurries do not count. I want 6 inches min... 12 to 14 would be better... 18 to 24 perfect!
I set my fans southeast before I left to ensure that there would be snowfulness for Christmas in MO grykyttyn. I also set them for 'sparkly' snow which is better for Christmas. Glad to hear you got through the exams dear Claire WHEW! I am in awe of your greenie aura. I would have answered: "What flavour was the pastry?' Probably why philosophy majors shouldn't be lawyers .
Sure, you can mail snow; you're just likely to receive water (rain?).
Sparkly snow! ooo oo ooo that's the best kind. Looks like thousands of diamonds on the ground.
Thanks dahlianut!
Miss Jestr... What exactly is a gymkana? I'm guessing something similar to a children's rodeo.. but i'm not really sure.
Philosophy major?! Truly-ooly-ooly now. It wanted only that....
And pastry is key...
Truly really Cousin. Degree joint major-Philosophizing specializing in the logic of pastry and English lit specializing in poohums with a particular fondness for wassailing. That twoud be me ^_^
*snort* I'm not sure if I'm in love, that'd be a bit much. But your poetical waxings do have a certain sumpin' sumpin' most beguiling...wordznthoughtsntoezatwinkle...twinkletwinkle...
{{{laughing too hard to do anything but cry here...MY funny bone...WOULD you stop hitting it!!lololol}}}
Mistress of the Existential Wassail....hmmm nope, t'other kind...
mi mi mi (warmin up for future wassailing)
Greykitty, it is for all ages, there are different classes. Billy is in a lead class, which means I can lead the horse, ride behind him, or let him go by his self(NOT THIS YEAR) that class goes to age 9. then there are teen classes, adult classes and even a green horse and rider class(My old class)
It consist of 4 different events, barrels, poles, Figure 8 and the Keyhole pattern, all done on horse back. I have my other two grand kids doing it this year for their first year. Heck this is the most Dodge has ever ridden, and he is really loving it.
Chief performed like a pro today, and got an piece of peppermint candy for a treat when he was done. Santa rode up on his trusty mustang and all the kids got to see him... (I asked him for a cowboy and he said he would see what he could do, I said make it a good one, and he said I was in the wrong state for a good one) LOL
Edited for spelling errors

Thank you for explain'n Miss Jestr.
Very nice coat, I am sure the old fellow will love it when it gets cold.
Love it Beth... I have a sweater for my small dog and when I put it on her, you would think I have beat her, she wont move and sulks...
Wonderful print on the dog coat Beth! Love it!!!
MissJ - my greyhound loves his coats but my parents' Welsh terrier is just like your dog. She won't move.
He' stylin' !
That is a very regal coat and looks very cumfy BB. Perchance dogs who are persnickety about coats would prefer a hat and booties? Or a NWD?
If dogs get NWDs may I offer a labradoodle neck for your attention? It is very very snowy here - maybe twelve inches or more - and the chickens are NOT leaving their coop. DH had to open up our very long driveway with the tractor; it was all we could do to trek to the poultry yard in the unbroken snow drifts! That is very tiring! The said labradoodle bounced about featly in the snow, but comes back in with snowballs stuck to legs and paws - not good for hardwood floors but maybe better than for carpeted ones. We offered the cat the shelter of the enclosed porch overnight, for which she thanked us by spewing trails of semi-digested something-or-other all over the floor. What fun!
Dahlianut, your majors do explain a certain amount....I started off with French and then switched to psych. I am mightily impressed with your philosophikal endeavors; do feel free to philosophize for us any time you choose!
I think that has been her covert mission for more than a year, g_g.
Il'll try on the labradoodle thing. Have the yarn. But I haven't touched the knitting in days...been bad. Naughty even.
Santa is very understanding about naughtys that involve purling yarnage Cousin Nut. I am a little worried about Santa. I corresponded to him that I would not be home this year for his annual hitchhike to visit for a refreshing beverage but I did not hear back from him before I left :(
Just get back for a run to Micheal's-they have a sale on yarn-just what I need more yarn. LOL
I LUV Michael's! There is one right near my house. Sometimes I get things there that I will never use just cuz they are prettiful and need to live with me.
Dear Dehlia Santa will find you, he was so busy with last minute glitch that he was not able to get back to him.
Yes I try to stay out of Micheal's I have enough yarn now to keep me busy for 6 months. LOL
Miss Jestr... i too have a dog that when you adorn her with clothes of any kind she sulks & refuses to move. BUT when i toss the 4 fleece blankets, 1 quilt, 1 acrylic blanket & 3 flannel sheets on my bed.. she bull dozes her way to the bottom layer & refuses to move till morning & then only if the temperature is a sufficient warmth to not upset her.
ok.. off to clean & bake.. gotta get stuff presentable incase I can bring ZZ out to see my chickens. The house looks like we're moving!
Grow, my labradoodle probably wouldn't appreciate an NWD, although one evening when we got back home she greeted me at the door with the cozy headrest cloth-type thingie from my easy chair draped over her back. I could definitely tell where SHE'd been (she's not supposed to be in that chair unless I'm in it and invite her, but I've had my suspicions....) These days she could definitely use some rubber boots, but whether she'd tolerate them is another question.
I am sulking about Michael's because our local store stopped carrying open-backed frames without so much as a by-your-leave. I went there, enticed by the weekly circular offering a 40% sale on said item, and found that the traitors had revamped the place and removed those offerings. So now I'm boycotting them; I'll bet they're sorry!
I was rather thinking of a loose turtleneck without the shirt...but if you say so...
Michael's should be ashamed...
Actually, as a matter of fact, now that you mention it, and all things being equal while some are not so equal but really rather different (or unequal, as the case may be), she loves her scarves, with which we adorn her on specially festive occasions. She prances quite proudly when thus bedecked.
Grow, in vain did I try to impress upon the staff of Michael's the error of their ways, but they did but repeat obdurately that the flier specifically stated, "Not available in all stores." Aha, yes, but theirs was one of the stores in which they had been available, and therefore should continue to be until the end of time or the taking over by WalMart.
And SO say all of us!!
LOl Grey, Tiny does burrow under 3 afgans, one feather quilt, one borrowed hospital blanket and the sheet... and like your dog, she does not move until the morning even if I roll on her.
I wanted a Michaels in my town, the closest I have is a Walmart... uggggg
Michaels is not what it once was. We also have a Hobby Lobby store and they do have a web site. They has some what more than Michaels.
:0) i have a Michaels, Hobby Lobby & 3 Walmarts. 2 more walmarts within 20 mins of me.. OOOO & we have a JoAnn's.
o my.. I do not roll over on my Abbie If I did that she would growl at me. can't roll over anyways. Katie the cat sleeps with her head on my shoulder, Twitch the cat sleeps perched on my stomach or tucked against my side. Sometimes Sassy the cat sneaks in to sleep on my feet.. & if Lil boy, Quara & Callie come inside (cats & only in extreme weather) I really can't move for all the little grumpy critters that think my bed is the best to sleep in.
Been there. I have a twin size bed. Had 3 Siamese cats that sleep on me. They kept the dog of the bed(they out lived 4 dogs.)
I have a Michaels, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, Hancock Fabrics, and Walmart, although I only went to Walmart once and that was an emergency in-the-middle-of-the-night run for an air mattress after I found out that my boyfriend (well, we'd lived together 2 years after buying a house together) was having an affair with the French intern that was staying in our house in the spare bed, so I had to go get an air mattress and it was the only place that was open. Otherwise I never would have given them a red cent. I think there might be a second or third Walmart but I refuse to acknowledge their existence. Oh, and Hobby Lobby irritates me for being closed on Sundays. Pffft....
On the other hand, I don't have a Whole Foods or a Trader Joe's or any of the other cool grocery places and I would rather have those than the craft places cuz I can order craft stuff online.
i have a queen size bed.. last thursday nite, i had the two cats, Twitch & Katie, the dog Abbie & a 4 yr old & 8 yr old in the same bed with me. Now THAT was a bit crowded.
I despise Walmart but i can't afford the normal grocery store... If it was just me I'd live on eggs. But i have to get enough groceries for my diabetic mother.. so walmart gets about 1/3rd my paycheck a month. in the summer.. i go to the Farmer's market for the most part.. but it closed in OCT.
Hobby Lobby has a much better selection than Michaels.. Michaels here barely has any yarn.
