Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Good luck with that, Bill. He's pretty good. We're hoping for Bay and Molina.

They moved the camera so you can see the ice skaters now.

Phoebe - Cornus kousa 'Satomi' is very nice. Great, late-blooming, long-lasting pink flowers with fantastic fall color. One of my faves.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

You can;t have Jason Bay!!!!!!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Sox don't want him.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I've spoken to my boys and told them if Santa is kissing mommy, Santa's getting an a** whuppin'!!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

didn't know you were into that?

Not sure Bay is worth over 60M - stikes out a lot and looks bad doing it - Sox still are working to sign him though

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

But he's so cute! ^_^

South Hamilton, MA

Cute doesn't drive in runs. However better than having Manny around.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Hey, maybe Phoebe was talking about Santa. He's cute! Maybe Mommy couldn't resist.

Thomaston, CT

I'm not sure I like either choice for the Mets, but good choice of trees for Phoebe. How large a conifer for your friends, Victor?

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

I think I'll take Santa! I love a fuzzy face! ^_^

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

thanks guys.. Randy and I managed to get 10 foot of lights to form a christmas tree today.. Randy is going to run the wires tomorrow... I will take some better videos once we are done

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

victor i have never seen a dwarf robin before - actually didn't know there were dwarf birds - how big are the wings? can they still fly?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Comma, Bill.

Jen - I have not balanced a checkbook in about 14 years - since I went to online banking.

Anyone see the new NYC Dept of Health video about soda?! Petty gross - drinking fat.

Gross alert!!!

http://www.youtube.com/drinkingfat

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Business books.

Ok, I am SO not watching that video.

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

OOOh. So glad i never developed a taste for soda. Too acidic for me.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I never liked it either, Joyce. Even as a kid.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

pretty gross video!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Reminds me of Rocky drinking the raw eggs.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I gave up soda when my friend was dying and the only thing that cleaned out the gunk in his feeding tube was soda. Gave it up right then and there after seeing that.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That'll do it.

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

Yep. They say cola will melt rust. Some people use it like WD40.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

I think they busted that soda eating rust away in Mythbusters. Soda is still pretty gross.

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

I don't think so.

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Oh phooey! When's the last time you had battery acid deposits in your tube?(esophagus)

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Dave's got a last frost date finder now...

http://davesgarden.com/guides/freeze-frost-dates/

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

That's pretty neat!

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

Huh! I put my zip code in and got stats for Hampshlre Ma and Worcester Ma county stats. That's Boojum's area, and I know we are a bit warmer than she is...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Doesn't look accurate. Have mine as 4/21. Way too early. I have seen it given as well into mid-May.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Gotta love this guy's honesty.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

I wouldn't trust everything I see on Youtube. Mythbusters did the same test and water cleaned the battery acid just as well.

Check this out: http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/acid.asp

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I love caffeine free diet pepsi. I don't drink coffee, so I think my liquid acid intake is ok. Coffee is also an excellent cleaner.
