Good one ima.
Glad you found us again, I was going to send out a search party, Angie. Hope the kid feels better soon. I just wish mine had told me he was sick before we left the house this really cold morning!

Thought for the Day #5
Sure Happy It's Thursday!!!!!!!
O.K. I promise.......last beer quote.....maybe...
"Without question, the greatest invention in the history of mankind
is beer. Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention,
but the wheel does not go nearly as well with pizza."
LOL!!!

Richard Bach
I find myself looking for great quotes now.
For health and food
For love and friends,
For everything
Thy goodness sends,
Father in Heaven,
We thank Thee.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Pegi, are you coming to the Round-Up?
From a poster in my Chiropractors office.
Poster is Titled Peters Laws:
"1. If anything can go wrong, Fix It!
(To hell with Murphy!)
2. When given a choice -- Take Both!
3. Multiple projects lead to multiple successes.
4. Start at the top and work you way up.
5. Do it by the book . . . but be the author!
6. When forced to compromise, ask for more.
7. When you can't beat them, join them, then beat them.
8. If it's worth doing, it's got to be done right now.
9. If you can't win, change the rules.
10. If you can't change the rules, then ignore them.
11. Perfection is not optional.
12. When faced without a challenge, make one..
13. "No" simply means begin again at one level higher.
14. Don't walk when you can run.
15. Bureaucracy is a challenge to be conquered with a righteous attitude, a tolerance for stupidity, and a bulldozer when necessary.
16. When in doubt: THINK!
17. Patience is a virtue, but persistence to the point of success is a blessing.
18. The squeaky wheel gets replaced.
19. The faster you move, the slower time passes, the longer you live.
That's a different take. It was written by a millionaire, or that is what I was told. I like #15. best.

I sure hope I can make it to the RU, Kathleen. Mentioned it to DH several times and now that there is a date I mentioned it again. Trying to get a straight answer isn't easy. I'll approach him again after he sees the doctor on his shoulder. It has been bothering him for a long time, and hope this trip to the doctor gets some relief. I still don't have any plants to trade, unless you want some tomato plants I never pulled up and are trying to set forth some blossoms. LOL I do plan on trying to germinate some seeds this year. Let you know later.

Can't resist my thought for the day: Lock your doors!
I read your story about your computer and I agree. Lock them!

bestow upon our favorite cat they too would purr."
Martin Buxbaum
Good one kwan.
Here's one for you.
If it was easy it probably isn't worth doing, on the other hand, the harder it is the more you appreciate it.

I don't know where my post went. I had answered you, SW. Here it is again.
Thank you. I love that one. And so very true.
"I would never consider trading the wisdom of my years for the inexperience of my youth, unless I actually could." Unknown
Good morning all. Middle of the week again.....closer to the time I can spend in my veggie garden.
Liked yours SW. This is a similar one I've used over time myself.
Thought for the Day:
"I've given up trying to keep my head above water and resigned myself to learning to breathe underwater."--DP--
This is one my dear friend uses:
"Just when I thought I might be winning the rat race, along came faster rats."

DP, the thread is getting a bit long, should we start a new one so we don't loose our dial up friends?
Okay another one swiped from an email a friend sent to me.
May you always have
Love to Share,
Health to Spare,
And Friends that Care.
A Blessing for all my DG family!
