Mohawk is lovely, and that is a great picture!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

So where were all the votes?!! ^_^

Just kidding, Joyce - rattlesnake!

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

Oh, now I get it. Slow today :-)

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Victor - your photo of the Hellebore and the Viburnum Mohawk are both gorgeous.

Love your tulips, Louise!

I'll stick with April, too, so as not to rush the season.

Gorgeous iris. The prettiest I've seen I think.
Love the buds on your viburnum Victor and venu's sugar a spice sure is nice.
Pretty daffs with those bright golden cups and a really nice fringy tulip all streaked with pastel color. Beautiful.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Patti!

Louise, I now NEED Sugar and Spice.

Thomaston, CT

Outstanding J. iris---color is so saturated----& the viburnums are wonderful, especially if they're fragrant.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Ooooooh, love that iris and the little garden scene. Beautiful viburnums Weeze and Vic. WC, your tulips are all gorgeous!

Trying to stay in April, but there's not much going on here except crocuses. Forsythia.

Beautiful daffodils Arlene!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Well, I can't stay in April, as I only have iris pictures, but spring is from March to June, right? Or if this is an April thread, I'll wait for the May one. I'm confused---normal state of mind, LOL.

Love the forsythia, so bright. Mine almost bloomed this fall, but just didn't make it by a few days.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

It's no big deal Polly. I'm thoroughly enjoying your iris pictures. Don't stop! My forsythia blooms in the fall sometimes too.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks, I thought maybe I missed something, these thread fly!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Nope! I think Victor's trying to encourage us to stick with the early part of spring since we're so close to the early part of winter. I don't believe anything is rigid here. Right Vic?

South Hamilton, MA

Only iris pictures here, also, Polly. & our plants at that. All others are on slides & our computer doesn't scan those well enough to see anything.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Well, we started out with some spring pictures from later spring and then Victor said something about sticking to April, and I was/ am lost. So someone yell to me when we get to mid spring----my iris season. Like I said, confusion is normal for me. I certainly know you folks here are not rigid about rules, anyway. Great group!

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Well, we're definitely in the same boat then Lucy. I don't have hardly any other pictures. I better rectify that this year.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Love that rattlesnake coleus.

Wonderful colors on the orchids, gloxinias and African violets! What a pretty picture it is.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Gorgeous shots today, folks!

No rules. Any blooms throughout the seasons are fine!

Looks like I'll be starting thread number two tomorrow already.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks for clarifying Victor. I've been known to miss something.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Any pleasing flower ,is what I thought too!

venue: those are soo sweet

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Besides bulbs the thing that says spring...forsythia and combined with the sunny yellow tulips, pretty pots of pink, sky blue campanula, baby chicks (so cute), and the smiling faces of pansies you really feel a lot better about what is happening outside my window today. This is a great way to keep the winter drearies away. My contribution for today is some hot colors of DL and monarda.

What's that blue flower, Jo? Is it a campanula? I love that!

Look at those smiling pansy faces. How sweet.

And how cute are those little chicks!

I'm going for hot colors this year, Patti, so it's nice to see those daylilies.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

That is Campanula perkoskia ( sp) It blooms until November.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I think I've tried that one before, but will try it again, now. Thanks. I might not have had it in enough shade.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Japanese iris Dino. Registered at 72" tall, although I've never gotten it that tall. I love tall things.

PV thats an indoor winter wonderland.

Allison, love anything purple. Nice. Those would look nice with the blue campanula.
Beautiful daylilies!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I have it planted with lilies in one garden and with Brunerra Jack Frost in another.I like the way it spreads low. Here it is with Jack Frost and Heuchera Prince of Silver.
