Rained horrendously this evening here with heavy winds, from ~1pm - 10pm. tapering off now, but I was on the road driving in that weather and it was real bad!

Rain, fog and a temp of 49º have all conspired to melt about a foot of the snow cover since yesterday. Should start to dry out this afternoon and get into the mid fifties before the cold starts to return. Back to mid 20s by mid-week. This weather is nuts.

Yes, a lot of green grass out there---made me smile---48 this afternoon as I walked the dogs----a small brook overflowed behind the dam, & flooded the road, so a shorter walk for us today.

Temp up to 26º now. Sun is up and there is a very heavy frost on everything that doesn't have a thin layer of snow left on it. Sun is breaking through for now but the clouds are going to win eventually. Wind is still calm.

Bill are you going to watch the Bruins at Fenway? I heard they had twice as many requests for tickets as the park holds. Should be a fun time. Might snow too. I used to like skating but usually by the time we walked to the local pond I was frozen solid already. Yesterday's warm up didn't help the ice skating crowd much either.
i'll be watching from home - wish i could have skated there - they only sold tickets to boston residents - last night during the football game nbc was promoting the hockey game and interviewing mike milbury at fenway (he will be working the game for nbc) and he "had" to stop the interview to go back and finish a pick-up game with his three kids - they were the only ones on the ice a 8PM - he could asked me i would have gone! :)
This is my niece Erica Rose. Frosty won't last too much longer... Temperatures have been above freezing, and the snow from last week is melting. That was the most snow (about 22") we've had around here in years. Terri
Me too, been looking at the lake and waiting, it looks like a mirror. :)
I know it's not safe enough yet, but if the cold continues this week without much snow cover.......i'll have a heck of a rink!! ^_^
