Ya think? 1 degree is not counting the windchill here.....im not even going to try to guess!
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 58
Ouch! Imagine how cold in NORTH China!
Very funny!! There is no North China.
Actually So. China, China & Vassalboro surround the lake so we are all about the same.
I'm also going to take a guess and say we have out first layer of ice on the lake now too.
BRRRRR
Supposed to be in the 30's today and for the next few.
the outside thermometer reads 23 here, and it usually reads high, like yours Victor. And it's sunny, so I can imagine how cold it really is, probably in the teens! And there was a crazy wind last night. It woke me up.
Making a second cup! Good day for a dip in the hot tub.
Reading about 16. Ugh!
We are reading 3 right now, better than 1 right?
Does anyone know how to do this? It says that today will be mostly sunny. Very cold. Wind chills may approach -15F. High 12F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.
So if it's a high of:
12 F
+
Winds 10-20mph
= -15F
SO..............What is it right now?
3F
+
WNW 14mph
= ???
I know....FROZEN!!!
it was a balmy 8 here this morning
Here's the wind chill chart.

Thank you Victor...maybe I didn't REALLY want to know! lol

Not real windy here. but says wind chill is 22
Nasty---had to go to PT, but that was it---I was a houseplant today.
12 degrees here, windchill says 2 degrees, but I don't really notice much wind right now.
12 degrees here as well. I really am unhappy about the whole thing. Orders from MN--mail the stocking stuffers tomorrow.
Its 5AM and 6* Dont tell me its a repeat of last winter.
9 degrees here at just after 5. Last winter we had tons of snow. We usually don't have as much snow as upstate NY. Too close to the ocean.
We turn the furnace down at night.
I woke at 1AM and checked the indoor them.it was 51* No wonder my coleus cuttings are stressing out.
9 degrees! brrrr
big ole 16 now.. going up to 34.. looks like we are getting some white stuff this weekend
:(
Big Fat 0 ° but the wind is calm right now.......we spent much of yesterday in negative #'s due to the winchill.

Snow tomorrow, up to 12" predicted here in E LI.
Now the sun is up, our temps dropped. Go figure....now at -2 °F
All the way up to 12. Was 10.6 when we woke up. Luckily, no wind.
Winter storm watch for tomorrow. Hope they're wrong. Supposed to be taking my son to the Army hoops game.
Yep cold and windy here still too. Started at 6 degrees, now with the sun shining it's all the way up to 19. May get to the middle 20s. Snow for sat. night through half of Sunday. We are in the 6-12" category at present. Hoping for a faster turn out to sea or a big fizzle would be nice too.
I'm with the fizzle! Supposed to have many folks here Sun., changed to Sat. at 1pm---if it snows earlier, we'll have a lot of leftovers!
29 degrees low was 19
Very cold but not as bad as yesterday. DH is on an errand (needs beer) & will take a look at the Ed fund trees. Need something short & bushy.
39 and cloudy today. The storm looks like it's tracking south of OH. We're to get flurries over the weekend.

Cold, but I like it, makes it feel like Christmas.
The grocery store was mobbed.
Lower temps than yesterday, but much nicer due to the absence of wind.
wind always makes it feel worse.
Hellloooooooo, all you northern friends!!! Yikes....you guys are really getting the cold temps...how Christmasy! We had a deluge of rain today. Look out....it's coming your way in the form of blizzardy snow! Wouldn't you know we had to go out in it and get our little Christmas tree. All of the tree lots had pulled up stakes, so we ended up at Home Depot and got a nice little 6 footer Frazier Fir, really very fresh. It's small for us, but given the puppy crates, it works just fine for this year. We spent the rainy day decorating the tree and the fireplace mantel, so now I'm in the spirit! Stay warm and safe!!
Louise
