Overcast now and 41 degrees. Sun should fight it's way out and move the temp to around 50. Light little wsw breeze. This is the last warmish day for a while. Winter temps move in this evening and throughout the next week at least.

Hi Iris, There is speculation that sunspots, (cooler areas of the sun with increased magnetic disturbance), affect earth’s weather to some extent. When the sun undergoes a period of increased activity, the stratosphere warms up and expands. How much this expansion and increased warmth affects the troposphere, (the area of the atmosphere closest to earth), is still undetermined. The same goes for the opposite.
(Frankly, I think it’s just a small part of a very large puzzle we're not going to figure out because the puzzle constantly changes. ☺)

Gusty w/nw wind. Sun is nice, but the temp, not so much at 25º. May struggle to around freezing for a high, low teens overnight. Colder still next couple of days. Yuck, winter seems to be here.
